Sluggish and slow???? youve got to be joking. He looked tired in between round mabye because he weas throwing so much leather. Mainly all hard shots too, it was like a twelve round workout on the damn heavy bag. That would tire anyone out. However the reason manny stopped and let clottey throw and land a couple is to try and open him up to a counter attack, looking for the knockout, but he wouldnt throw anymore than one hard hit at a time. Personally i woulda told pac not to bother after the first couple of times he got caught and told him to just keep moving in and out punching clottey at will and just win easy on points. Clotty wouldnt have touched Pacquiao all night if it wasnt for this tactic. Back to the slow point, that is utter it, in one round Pacquiao throws an eight punch combo with unbelievable blistering speed. However i think his best weight right now would be 140 pounds but theres nobody down there that could even come close to beating him , so why not smash these welterweights in super fights for the last few fights of his career.

What are you on about Mr. Chris Williams….you are talking rubbish….you talk crap….you said Mayweather and Shane Mosely will beat Pacman….Did I just hear that right…Oh my god you must be idiot….None of them are faster than Pacman…..I agree that he is smaller than them but Pacman can knock them out without a doubt.Pacman made Oscar de la hoya to retire and made him look foolish and stupid but when Mayweather fought him , De la hoya was punching Mayweather until the last second and he looked good. Pacman knocked Hitman on the canvas twice in 2 rounds and Hitman was close to R.I.P but Mayweather took 11 rounds….not impressed….And Shane Mosely is too slow and old for Pacman….Mayweather is great at defence and Pacman is great at offence…..but at the end of the day….Offence scores the points and wins and KO comes when you attack not defend lamo…..and finally YES I do believe Khan is faster than Pacman but if they fight then goodbye Aamir lol ! c ya

khans only been with roach for 2 min,how long has pacman been trained by roach,khans power will come ,it just takes time
and hell still be lightning fast,the thing is khnas gonna be a major problem for anybody in that division,,,,hes getting stronger and faster all the time improving,its gonna take somebody equelly as fast to land on him,,,,,,and theres not that many fighters in the division who can match that speed,,,,,,saying that valero would ruin him,if he caught him with just one of them bombs!!!!!

im a die hard fan of mayweather, but im more of a boxing fan..
i like mayweather cos he is a pure boxer, manny is unorthodox like ali, but with different styles, many more offensive where as ali was defensive as well..

At this point i dont see mayweather beating pacquiao. style mke fights, pacquiao need a proper puncher like tommy hearns that can force him to back down and slow down his aggressive volume punching, so mosley would be a better choice to have a good shot at pacquiao, maywether cant force it on manny, he will land on manny but manny will land more cos average punches thrown by mayweather through out his career is 40 punches per round…so with a work rate like that without a devatating punch to back down manny, mayweather woukd lose a unanimous decision against manny, however i dont seee manny ko floyd..floyd is very good at what he does and that is defensive mastery..
however mosley can force anyone to back down, have to accept the fact that, as good as pacman is, he isnt a welterweight, he is to me a light weight, but still pacman is ferrocious and mosley would take a lot of lather if he have to do it or attempt to do it against pacman and it could end up in him being stoped in corner or have to ko manny, my money is on mosley getting pulled from the corner..

does that mean pacman is better than floyd? styles makes fights, they all are legends and one have to lose.

I wouldnt call Roach’s statement a startling revelation, you only have to watch Amir and Manny fight for one round and you can see that Amir has the superior hand and foot speed. In my opinion Khan will beat Malignaggi by a comfortable UD

@ jb. Khan is faster than Pacquiao, this article seems pointless, when this is an excepted fact. And no, Malignaggi won’t out-box Khan, as he doesn’t stand much of a chance of beating Khan (that’s why he was chosen).
@ Thaibox.
Pacquiao only agreed to three blood tests, which, if he was using some form of PED’s, wouldn’t have been sufficient to pick anything up. The problem was, Pacquiao didn’t want there to be random blood testing. It doesn’t matter if you repeatedly type those words in uppercase, that doesn’t make your opinion anymore right!

I didn’t know it was a big shock that khan is the faster fighter. When he first went to roach’s gym pacman said he struggled with khans speed in sparring. Lots of khans sparring partners say hes he fastest they’ve came against. He’s obviously still not the worlds best fighter but hes rapid!

Pacman camp is trying to lure PBF camp to fight. They’ve been sayin it that they want that fight. Whatever we saw in Pac’s last performance “might” not be his 100%. Someone said Clottey was like a jockey pulling his strap backwards a little. Pacman could be doing the same thing in that fight. We’ll know in the Pacman vs Mayweather/Mosley.
