Klitschko destroys Chambers with 12 round knockout!

Dennis Broadhurst: After a fairly dull fight with Chambers not seeming too interested, and being hurt late on in the fight, Eddie Chambers was eventually stopped with a left hook by Klitschko in the closing seconds of round 12.

Larry Holmes was allwaays my favorite, I think Wlad fights alot like him, jab jab jab jab “pow”…..nothing like a punishing jab…..best weapon in boxing
I remember all those Ali and Frazier fights like it was yesterday, Frazier had a huge heart and I have not one thing bad to say about him, he is a great man in and out of the ring. Ali fought more soup cans than anyone in history and made a beg deal out of all of it. He held more than anyone in boxing. He was very entertaining. The Klitchko’s I think are big strong killers, they wouldn’t have much of a problem with either of them.

I was thinking the same thing. What in the hell did boring Klitschko hit sorry Chambers with???? I didn’t see a shot land. Now that was a phantom punch. The bum just fell because he didn’t want to fight no more.

not k bro’s fault that comp is spread thin. they’re dominating a watered down div but they still are dominating. you know the k bro’s r a nice story in a sense that the heavyweight div had a dark cloud over it for awhile thanks to stand up characters like don king. never hear any negative press on them just positive which i guess in boxing if ur too bland they’ll work that against you too. once wlad beats haye which will prob be by the judges (and just inspite of haye he should beat him up with just his jab and hook so he can say he only used one arm) he should clean house again and jab his way to a victory against chris crybaby arreola or anybody else who thinks they can take on one of the bro’s. i’m personally not a fan of their fight game but they win and they make it look easy e.g. winning a decision with throwing and only throwing a jab, think about that how many fighters would win that way. that’s one stiff jab.
Jasper come on Ali in 1966 wieghed 205-210 Klitsschko at 250 mismatched. Ali almost got ko ‘d by a guy who wieghed 185 but Dundee did the cut glove to help him.

I did not see the fight last night (I would not waste my time or money on the crap known as the heavyweight division) but from everything I heard it was the same pawing jab for 11 rounds he uses against every other skill less foe he faces. Name one “contender” that would be champ back in any era. I probably could name fifty old contenders that could and would be champ today!

Chambers earned his place at the table but couldn’t finish the starter. Join the queue of broken HW’s who all said this is what I am going to do, and walked away with nothing.

what is a great heavyweight? ali lost to norton once, and you could argue he lost all 4 times…ali got more gift decisions than any fighter in history…lets talk norton….vlad is bigger, stronger, faster, has better footwork, better defense and has a better jab than norton…i would say there chin is about equal, either of them could be dropped by a big puncher…eddie chambers is a better version of jimmy young who ali struggled to beat…didnt see a struggle tonight…then chageav is a bigger jerry quarry, almost equal in every department….good old days…they never happened…anytime ali lost a fight than man had to be great, because ali was great….ridiculous, ali had no inside fight game and didnt have much of a punch and only threw a one two…holmes was far, far better….
kallie, you’re an idiot haye’s last fight was the worst i’ve ever seen…ever…and eddie would beat haye any daye, he is faster, has better defense, and throws better combinations…vlad’s jab is as hard as any right hand…you cant underestimate that…haye wouldnt have lasted 3 rounds….vlad’s jab is far harder than mormeck’s right, the one that staggered and knocked down haye…had him holding on for a whole round…but its the honor part that amazes me….haye is the snakiest, nastiest person in boxing…he barely speaks english, whereas vald gives to charities, is kind, has a doctorate degree and speaks 4 languages

It really fu*ks me off hearing people go on about how the klitschkos woulda got knocked out by thise guys from the 70′s and the likes of mike tyson blah blah blah…its bullsh*t!!! Check out their stats, these guys are legends…in my opinion Vitali is the better of the two, the man has never been behind in a fight….even the two that were called thru injury were his on points up until that point…lewis woulda had to have won four of the remaining six rounds in that fight just to get a draw, and he did NOT want a re-match with Vitali…also Vitali took that fight up with one weeks notice which is rarely mentioned. People goin on bout tyson in his PRIME aswell…Who the fu*k did he beat really??? Strong, skilled and consistent is all that can be said of the klitschkos.

dull fight in which wlad looked sluggish and showed signs of aging..chambers flopped from a phantom punch but got his payday.. klitscho’s ruined the heavyweight division, quit fighting pitty-punchers that are considerately shorter and fight some real heavyweights..sorry but the last 4 fhighters wlad has faced had no punch, wheres another hard hitter like brewster or sanders when you need them?!?

there is no good heavy weights around today, thats why the klitschkos rule there is no more spark in the heavy weight divison anymore, years ago you had loads of top fighters around every fight on tv then was worth watching, now you have one or two good heavy weight fighters and every time they fight they win but its a 10 or 12 rounds of pour bordem years ago the crowd was on the edge of their seats for every round now we need sun loungers and someone to wake me up at the 6th round

Is there no one out there with equal build and height who can match this guy in every ramification. As fast as eddy is, his speed was neutralized by Klitschko’s deadly jabs. What a nice KO by the DR Klitshko.

For a title fight a fighters pay should be divided by 12 and he should recieve a section of pay for each round he wins. Stop fighters trying to survive rather than win
