former WBA Heavyweight Champion Ruslan Chagaev (25-1, 17 Kos) is looking forward to his upcoming WBA eliminator fight against Australian top ranked contender Kali Meehan (35-3, 29 KOs).

The boxing career of 31 year old Chagaev has been kind of a roller coaster. He holds a win over “Russian Giant” Nicolay Valuev and in his last fight he lost 10 months ago against WBO and IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko in front of a 60.000 crowd at Veltins Arena auf Schalke.
