Most of you clowns do not have a clue, Valero has been calling Pacquiao since 2006 , when they both fought as featherweights, its not something new, Pacquaio told Valero to build his stats, its hard to argue with 27-0 27ko’s, Valero is capable of fighting at the highest level remember when Oscar fired Valero as a training partner because he “hit to hard” stop hating on the man

Valero said he wants Bradley. The only way that happens is if Bradley fights in Venezuala and Arum picks and pays the judges. When Bradley refuses, Arum will claim Bradley is scared. Same old story, Arum makes an offer that only a retard would accept than calls the other guy a coward.

Valero hits much harder than Margarito???
Using a fight between two super featherweights as an example, to proove that Valero hits harder than someone who campaigns at 3 weight divisions higher (some 17 pounds), is just farcical. Valero hits hard for the weight, but going up in weight and class changes things. The fighters that he would have to face, are a lot bigger, more powerful and are already acclimatized to your average welterweight (like Margarito, Mosley, Pacquaio and Cotto). Does anybody honestly beleive, that Valero should be even mentioned in the same breath as those fighters, let-alone as a viable opponent.

With the state the sport of boxing is in right now nobody has to prove anything to anybody to get what they want.

He seems to be chasing Pac. But if I were him, I’d rather fight some rated boxers first in his division then try 140. At 140, it would even be risky, not for him physically but for his career. Just like many posters here, I believe he has not really tested himself against much tougher opponents at his class. Again an unbeaten record does not guarantee one is unbeatable.

Many people here have no clue what Valero is capable of. But people in Southern California are aware of what Valero is capable of doing. He has had many gyms even beating Delahoya to a pulp. Just look at you tube Valero vs Santa cruz and they will state how Valero hits much harder than Margarito

Let me take it a step further and correct myself. Who did Pac even beat at 135? Diaz? Come on gimmie a break. Props to him for jumping from Jr. Lightweight (130) to Welterweight (I’m sorry, catch-welter weight) while skipping every decent fighter in the lightweight and Jr. Welterweight division. But Valero has to fight Bradley or someone else first? Please. Pac hasn’t even defended the Jr. Welterweight lineal title he took from Hatton. He should be stripped if he hasn’t given it up already. He’s not even a 140lb fighter. Roach already said he (Pacman) is staying at Welter. So why are we even speaking about Pac in this division. Jr. Lightweight and Catch welterweight is where Manny put his work in. No where else in my book. The man accomplished enough without the Pac riders adding fictional accomplishments to his resume don’t you think?

Not at all. I’m simply saying Valero doesn’t have to prove himself at 140. Pacmans accomplishments @ 135 are by no means questioned. On the other hand Valero has to beat a few more at 135 b4 he moves up to 140. And when he does, I guess all he has to do is beat Ricky Fatton to be considered the best at that weight right? That’s the only fighter Pac beat at that weight right or wrong? So let him follow what Pac did. All I’m saying is, don’t require one fighter to do what another hasn’t at a specific weight. Read my comment again. 140 is the proving ground the article and myself are speaking of. Plenty of young good fighters at that weight. Not lightweight or welterweight…JUNIOR WELTERWEIGHT. Get it right.

Well said. You hit the point. If Pacquiao destroys Valero, haters will say he fought a bloated lightweight (just like what FMJ did to JMM). Besides, most of the fighters Valero fought were not even top caliber fighters. On the other hand Pacquiao has fought the likes of Barrera, Morales, Marquez, ODLH, Hatton, Cotto; all were considered the best at their respective divisions or bigger and stronger than Pacquiao. Its just funny to think that everyone now wants to fight Pacquiao. If memory serves me right, even Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr. once called Pacquiao out. Go figure lol.
