How about a different title:

"MAYWEATHER DIDN'T WANT TO TAKE $25 MILLION JUST TO SHUT HIS MOUTH AND FIGHT"

OR

"MAYWEATHER DIDN'T WANT TO TAKE $25 MILLION AND GET KNOCKED OUT"

All he needed to do was fight. Especially since he was the one who called out Pacquiao to fight.

Plus Mayweather is spreading a lie. Pacquiao agreed to be tested. What Pacquiao didn't want was the schedule that Mayweather was promoting.

Again, MAYWEATHER CLEANING UP BOXING IS LIKE THE MAFIA GETTING RID OF POLICE CORRUPTION.

If he is serious about changing boxing, he should lobby through Nevada State Athletic Commission. Has he done it? NO. Not one step to do such a thing to this date. There you go, all talk and no action.

All propaganda to discredit Pacquiao.

There is no doubt that there will be more testing in the future of boxing. But the future is not invasive blood test. Technology will improve and tests will be simpler, quicker but more effective.

RB0043, that is the stupest argument I ever heard. Floyd's right??? He lived up to "his end of the bargain?" You are equatng the per pound penalty with random and unlmited blood testing? The per pound penalty is only a "what if" condition. Floyd does not have to actually pay anything. All he has to do is agree not to cheat. It could be a $100M per pound penalty. What difference does it make if he is never going to pay it. This is stupid smoke and mirrors argument. Plus which that penalty was necessary because Floyd is an admitted and proven weight cheater (JM Marquez fight - what about that "even playing field" floyd?) Now the random and unlmited blood testing, that is a condition that Pac ACTUALLY HAS TO SUBMIT TO and it will go on and on, unlmited and random all during his training. You don't see a slight difference here in those two conditions? ANd by the way, Pac agreed to the same exact weight penalty if he comes in overweight too. Tha't ridiculous you say because Pac would never come in over? I agree with you. Same condition for both but different for each fighter becasue they are different people. Same with both agreeing to the same random and unlimited blood testing. Different experience for each fighter even they are both doing the same thing. One it bothers, and the other it doesn't.

I robot, don't you find it just a little bit curious that May all of a sudden had an "epifany" and just coincidentally decided to "clean up the sport" when he was supposed to fight Pac? Where was his "cleaning up the sport" crusade for all of his previous 40 fights? May is a con man. Everything he says is a spin meant to manipulate the public pure and simple. I am amazed at how many people he has fooled. This is not about cleaning up the sport. This is about harrassing Pac because May knows how much is averse to having his blood taken. He only wants blood taken because it is an invasive test. There are new urine tests that have just come out that now detect everything a blood test does and more. Google it if you don' believe me. I agree with you that all the athletes should be tested to make sure they are clean. But if there is a test out there that is nonivasive, that does not interfere with their training, why not use that one. Blood testing is obsolete. And, by the way, PEDs, hgs and steroids do not turn you into superman or te incredible hulk. ODH KNOCKED OUT Vargas when Vargas was on steroids when he fought him. It is not like removing the padding in your gloves and putting plaster in your hand wraps. Now THAT is dangerous kind of cheating. Steroids? HGH? PEDs? Yawn. If May felt he was as good as he boasts he is he wouldn't have walked away from an easy $5M payday. He was afraid of fighing Pac because of how good Pac is. His father feels he is only that good because he is juicing but he is afraid to fight him nevertheless. So if it turns out he is NOT juicing, all of a sudden he is NOT afraid anymore? Does that make any sense. May was looking for an excuse to get out of the fight without losing face and he found it so he can protect his precious 0 and not get embarrassd by becoming another Pac victim. What a coward.

Gotta agree with Floyd on cleaning up the sport, even though I think He ducks fights too much.
Too many fighters have been caught cheating so just imagine how many get under the radar, Boxings gotta clean up its act.
Random blood tests should be mandatory, like in the olympics, because people put their health on the line when they fight.
Like I-robot, my logic is undeniable.

Ryan, if what you are saying is true about hair and saliva testing, and if it can be objectively and factually and inarguably and unequivically (whew!) proven that these tests work just as good, if not even better than, blood tests, the you should not be wasting your time on these sites dealing with these people who think that these are sites best used for name calling rather than making meaningful comments. You should be writing Bob Arum or the sportscasters. If what you are saying is true, this needs to be shouted to the rooftops. (Mayvbe we can hire Mayweather Sr. if there was something in it for him, to get the message across). Because if true, this SOLVES THE IMPASSE FOR A FUTURE PAC MAYWEATEHR FIGHT. Of course I believe this was all a ruse anyway and Mayweather will most likely ignore the facts and call for the blood testing anyway because he knows it is his easy ticket out of the fight.

@lacmup, yes I agree. Dope testing needs to be updated. Where I disagree is that who says that blood testing is the answer? Oh I forgot, doctor Mayweather says so. ok ok. Thatis good enough for me. Sarcasm aside, the answer is in high tech urine testing which is non invasive and will DETECT EVERYTHING A BLOOD TEST WILL AND MORE AND DO IT WITH MORE ACCURACY MAKING BLOOD TESTING OBSOLETE!!!!!

@money mayweather: I read the last sentence of your post wherre you wrote that 10 our ofg 10 times "Mayweather would beat Pacquiao if they fought ROIDS OR NO ROIDS?" Is that your "final answer?" Really. That's not what May Sr. said. He said he would be afraid of his son getting seriously hurt if he were to fight Pac all juiced up. His exact words were that his son was the best but that even the best can get hurt fighting someone who was on PEDs. My bigger question is if May can beat Pac 10 out of 10 times ROIDS OR NO ROIDS, can you please explain to me why he walked away from a $45M easy payday because Pac wouldn't take excessive blood testing over and above unlimited urine testing he agreed to to prove to May that he was clean of those "roids?" He must have been pretty f'ing concerned about something to walk away from $45M. Does that make any sense to you at all? Why not fight him without the testing requirement and then, when Pac tested positive in the after the fight test and May kicked his "punk ass" anyway, May would be on top of the world and no one could doubt his greatness. hmmmm

Floyds right. He lived up to his end of the bargain, which to me is pretty outragious and Manny didn't live up to his. Its a test manny take the test, its your chance to prove you are the greatest plus you'll get $25 million while doing it. If he's going to through this down the drain cause he thinks taken blood makes him week then obviously hes not one of the greats.
Try and imagine Mohammed Ali saying something like that,"no Im not going to take the test because I think it will make me weak," haha what a joke....

Pacquaio not taking the blood test becuase of his belief that it weakens him is sort of a paradox since boxing is a contact sport. I guess he rather lose his blood in the ring. =p

money mayweather: You seem awfully confident about that. "Floyd could fight Manny ten times and win every time.... roids or no roids" I dont think the Mayweather's are as confident of that? Otherwise May would have shown the "sack" and fought under the regular rules, you know... the rules that EVERY boxer in the history of the sport has fought under. And as for beating Manny "in or out of the ring"... "anytime" Have you seen or heard how Floyd conducts himself outside the ring? He acts like a two bit gangster! Manny's a politician with a professional and humble attitude to life. Manny wins outside the ring hands down.... Unless you were refering to a street fight when you said "out of the ring"?? please tell me you weren't!

And as for beating Manny “in or out of the ring”… “anytime” Have you seen or heard how Floyd conducts himself outside the ring? He acts like a two bit gangster! Manny’s a politician with a professional and humble attitude to life. Manny wins outside the ring hands down…. Unless you were refering to a street fight when you said “out of the ring”?? please tell me you weren’t!

I said it before, and i will say it again.Mayweather is taking on the more difficult opponent in fighting Shane Mosley than Manny Pacquiao.Yes,this is my opinion, but soon when the two get in the ring it will become a reality.Again my opinion(happy). And to all the people that assume right away that you are a pro Mayweather jr fan or pro Manny fan just because they dont agree with you i will settle your curiosity.I am not a Floyd jr fan or a Manny Pac fan.I am a boxing fan period.
