Thanks Bobby. Of course DLH and Richard Shaeffer are hypocritcal. I looked up the word Hypocritical in the dictionary and it showed a picture of Richard Schaeffer and DLH together. LOL.

DLH also said after he fought Pac that it was a good thing Pac did not hit hard or else he could have been seriously hurt. Now he says that Pac hit soooo hard, unnaturally hard, just like he was hit by other roid users, Mosely and Vargas when he fought them.

You know the really interesting thing is that there is supposed to be a high tech urine test that just came out that is supposed to detect everything that a blood test does and more and even do it with greater accuracy. If this is true, then all of this nonsense about blood testing goes away INSTANTLY. Does anyone out there really believe that Pac, when presented with this brand new urine test is going to refuse it? give me a break. If this is true about this new urine testing, I predict May insists on teh blood testing anyway, because the REAL reason May has for insisting on blood testing is because he knows Pac's aversion to getting his blood drawn and he either wants to screw with his training so he comes in unfocused and not well trained OR he was using it as an excuse to get out of the fight. His fatehr already admitted he was afrais for his son to fight Pac, but explained that statement by saying that even the best can be hurt by someone with PEDs in his system. WE all know that if JMM wanted a rematch, and, since the first fight was such a blow out, insisted that a clause be put into the 2nd fight whereby he woudl be ALLOWED ot take as many PEDs as we wanted, and if May was offered $45M to take that fight under those unusual conditions, do you really think May would turn that down?

Commonsense, sez it all....COMMON SENSE. I would like to add more arsenal. Lets throw in Golden Boy who is also spearheading this blood testing. Floyd Jr and the Golden Boys could have spearheaded this blood testing thing long ago especially when Mosley got busted. But lets look at the previous fighters who have been busted-Vargas, Toney, Holyfield, Roy Jones Jr, Klitschko, Botha, Carrera, Salido and finally Sugar Shane Mosley. There are 9 fighters who have been linked and caught with steroids, so we can say there are 9 evidences and more important 9 reasons why to raise the standards in drug testing for PEDs. But every 9 of those chances, went silent especially when Mosley got caught. When Zab was going to fight Mosley(already known Balco user),blood testing was requested by Zab Judah's manager. Then Richard Schaefer CEO of Golden Boy said then "We are not going to do other tests than the Nevada commission requires," Schaefer said. "The fact is Shane is not a cheater and he does not need to be treated like one." Now we are in the present, Pacquiao and Mayweather. Why all of sudden Golden Boy and the Mayweathers are bringing up random blood testing to the champion when he hasn't been linked to any steroid or PED's and passed every test all fighters took including Floyd. And why didn't Golden Boy brought up more stringent testing when all those 9 fighters I mentioned presented a great case. But instead they are using their random blood testing card to a man who has passed all the test and has NO LINK TO USING PEDS. It is hypocritical on Floyd and Golden Boy's part. There were 9 chances to make a case and not a single peep came out of Golden Boy and Floyd. If Floyd wanted to clean up boxing and all sports, he should have brought it up way before he was going fight Manny, maybe during his near 2 year hiatus from boxing. Fear and Paranoia is the source of Floyd's reason for demanding random blood testing to Manny. He knows if Manny is truly clean when he demolished all those previous fighters, he have more to fear because he is facing a true phenomenon.

FMJ went up in weight over a much longer period of time than Manny.
Also FMJ was struggling badly to make the lighter weight divisions.
Manny shot up in weight VERY fast and that is VERY suspitious!

Simon, did I come off as sounding neutral? I think both sides have points and I try to see it from both sides but, that being said, I am probably NOT neutral, but that is only because it seems so obvious to me (and I really am trying to be objective here) which side has the stronger argument. I think Mayweather is a great talent. I also think he is an even better con man. I think this whole thing about the PEDs is all a con by Mayweather. He doesn't really believe Pac is taking PEDs. He just wants to screw with his head and disrupt his training so he would not be at his best if he ever was forced to fight him. I think May tries to put a spin on everything. Well everyone does that to somee extent but May is the king of the spin. May Sr. flat out said he would be afraid of his son getting hurt if he fought the current version of Pac because he is convinced Pac is only that good because he is all juiced up and he wants him to fight his son without that kind of an advantage. He is afraid to have someone with all those performance enhancing drugs in his system, beating up on his son. He figures that, without the drugs, the clean version of Pac would be no match for his son. Teh only problem with that thinking is that he all but admitted he was afraid of this version of Pac and, if it turns out that he is wrong, and Pac is clean, just a phenominal, once in a lifetime fighter, then wouldn't he STILL be afraid of his son getting hurt the same as before. Pac is the same fighter eitehr way. the only thing that changes is WHY he is a phenominal figher. He is either a cheater and a fraud and he woudl not be near the figher he is without the juice, or he is real. But he is still the same fighter either way.

Mr Sweet Sci:

You made the following comment; rufus…by the way, all the names you mentioned (Roger Clemens, Mark McGwire, Manny Ramirez, Marion Jones, Ben Johnson, Floyd Landis, Shane Mosley, Fernando Vargas) were all tested PED users. do you know how they got caught? through urine analysis.

Not all these people were caught through urine analysis.

Marion Jones & Mosely were not actually 'caught'. Jones & Mosely testified under oath; Mosely admitted to using but said he was unaware it was PED's & is now in a lawsuit with Victo Conte of BALCO. It was later determined by the court Jones lied under oath & was imprisoned for contempt of court.

Mark McGuire was not caught, he took the 5th & only recently came out saying that yes he had used PED's, but it was worth it because he likes hitting baseballs really, really f*&^%ing far (OK, I made the last part up)

You seemed to own the pages of this blog by writing too many comments but it's fairly hard to determine your true color. Who or what are you exactly? See, you can't be in the neutral corner all the time. You have to take a stand somehow to establish your identity. So from now on, please take one side of the debate.

carlos you are right. It is too bad that the self proclaimed best fighter of the current generation, Floyd Mayweather has become such a monumental jerk that he says things like "legacy don't pay the bills". Uh, I think your bills are pretty much paid these days Floyd. Now either retire already or fight the best. Don't try to have your cake and eat it too. I am amazed that Leonard fought Hearns considering the physical mismatch. I am even more amazed that he knocked him out. Would I like to see Pac Williams, sure I would. It woudl sure trump Mayweather Mosley. I just dont see it happening and I cannot see how pac can fight that giant and win. But again Leonard koed Hearns so who knows?

The thing i like about boxing the most is to see a fighter with heart, like the old Rocky movies. A fighter with hearts will defeat a fighter with skill most of the time. A fighter with hearts will defeat a fighter with skill most of the time. MAYWEATHER has not shown he has heart, because he will not take tough fights. Sugar Ray was a skilled and very smart boxer, but he also fought anyone. He had heart

Realistic, you are right. To be the MAN you have to fight the MAN. great. Now if your MAN will simply fight under the same NSAC rules and regulations that is licensing this fight, THE WAY IT HAS BEEN DONE FOR ALL 40 OF FLOYD'S PREVIOUS FIGHTS AND THE WAY IT HAS BEEN DONE FOR ALL FIGHTERS IN ALL WEIGHT DIVISIONS SINCE THE INCEPTION OF BOXING, we can settle this argument of who is better once and for all. I hope to see it. Then win lose or draw, whoever is the victor, I would hope all the diehard Mayweathre fans and all the "Pactards" (what a stupid word) can all congratulate the winner and be gracious in defeat and we can all go out and have a drink together and finally talk about something else.
