this is not a good fight for cotto. hes to small for that division he should fight at that when hes ready to retire wich is not that far away alot has happend too losing to manny and losing his father. he should fight berto or the winner of mosley mayweather even do cotto is not the same he still could fight..

Clottey is much….much bigger than Pacquiao and most of the people that saw the Clottey vs Cotto fight , they think that Clottey won the game. Mayweather doesn’t even step on the ring with those opponents of Mosley that he had lost with!

@lex fugitive Well yeah, I agree with you man. I’m beginning to believet that the pac team is dodging fighters at welterweight levels by choosing to fight clottey for a sure ko. The only person they didnt dodge was cotto. And whats this thing bout mosley being soo good? we just saw him in one fight a year ago. For all we know this guy might just be finished and doing the mayweather fight for a final big payday. Well, only time will tell. A true challenge for pac would be mayweather, berto, bradley, and williams if he desides to come back down to 147.

But yeah that was off topic. I hope cotto wins he has all my respect for being such a warrior. AND SCREW what anyone says, this fight will mean something cuz he’s going up in weight to challenge bigger and tougher fighters. Everyones a critic, cant u just support this guy who has given soo much blood and entertainment for us?

Cotto is going to get beaten up. Foreman will use his reach and stick-and-move all night; and he will give Cotto basically no target to hit.

What’s Miguel going to do with the 154 belt even if he does win? Some of the 154 guys are huge bangers with solid chins, a la Margarito (just minus the wraps of doom). This is just more of Arum’s antics, matching two more Top Rank fighters against each other, so he can skim off the top of both guys. I don’t even know why Miguel stays with Arum. Top Rank didn’t even have his back after Plasterito thumped on him, and now Arum’s trying to put Plasterito on the Pacquiao-Clottey undercard, Pacquiao being another guy that Arum made Cotto a sacrifical lamb for.

Cotto is taking this because if he wins he gets a rematch with Manny at another catch-weight, Probably 148. That way Manny can win another paper title while avoiding Mosley, Mayweather, and Williams. Manny doesn’t want to fight Mayweather or Mosley. Freddie Roach said Mosley was too good, thats the reason Roach gave for not fighting him. That is Roach’s word. Mayweather agreed to 6 of Manny’s demands, while Manny wouldn’t budge and needed all 7 of his demands met. Clottey is known for having trouble making weight, but no crazy penalty in that fight. That just proves it was a gimmick to try and get out of fighting Mayweather.
