I can relate to cotto losing his father because I LOST mine in 2008…He had a heart attack…also…my guess is that Cotto loved his father as much as I LOVED mine…
He should take a YEAR off to morn & recover…if possible…
My heart is still bleeding for my old man…maybe Cotto should take his time…
These things are UNDERSTOOD only when you go thru them…

i think cotto and marquez should retire after one more defeat how many loses does mosley have//?i beleive all 3 should make a press conf and retire at the same tme.first maywether needs to beat mosely and cotto so i can say they have nothing else to prove.

If khan beats maidana that will mean people can finally start to start to take him seriously…but will it happen?

Cotto should go up to 154 and see what he can do there, hes still a great fighter and id still like to watch him, he can win titles at 154 im sure.

Marquez should forget hatton who isnt worthy and marquez isnt a lightwelterweight, go bk to lightweight and have a war with michael katsidis…now that would be a fight

personaly id love to see marquez fight katsidis, it would be such an entertaing fight. Hes way more deserving and shape to fight where as hatton will struggle to get the weight down..and it maybe a one sided fight like it was with pac and mayweather.

i think cotto vs hatton would make for a great fight when the where both at there prime could have gown eaither way and when u look at al there common oppenents hatton has done a beter job on them,i think they are both nearing the end of there carears at very young age,because they both enjoy the play boy liife style to much,so a fight at say 145 could be a good retirment fight for both fighters.i also think khan has to fight maidana to prove hes no afraid to take on a big puncher,and i think marquez should go after 1 of the belt holders at lightwelter to become the 1st mexican 4 weight champ.

And by the way Khan does not need to prove anythin to the ‘baxing fans’ as most of his fams are causual boxing watchers who are the ones that spend money to watch him…so called boxing fans don’t spend money and are full of hate and spite so he should just ignore most of those punks.

I heard his radio interview last night ‘on the ropes’ and although it was pre-recorded Khan said he though his next mandatory was maidana and he would fight him! so lets put this issue to bed.

I dont think cotto will ever be as effective from now on, he will give us a good show and more great battles but at his health’s sake. He should have 2 big fights this year and then retire before his body gives out on him.

As for marquez, I think age is just about to crumble him. He should also have 1 or 2 big fights and retire asap.

And khan..I see him being protected from risky fights this whole year. He will continue to fight bums or big names that are waayy past their prime and are just damaged goods or malignaggi which would not impress me at all if khan wins..in fact I would lose more respect for him. If you are givin this much hype and consider yourself a champ then you should prove it. If not then he will walk the footsteps of prince naseem and get exposed one day by a fighter who they thought they could beat(barrera lol).
