The Catlike Floyd “Meow” Mayweather

By Caesar Almase: I was watching the Mayweather/Marquez fight with my wife and she remarked, “Mayweather is so quick. He’s like a cat.” Indeed he is, and in more ways than one. There is no denying Meow May is an extremely gifted boxer, one of the greatest of this generation.
He is a multiple division champion. He is likely headed to the Boxing Hall of Fame. He is undefeated because of his catlike skills in the ring. . . and his catlike avoidance of the best fighters.
It would be different if Meow May had a different reputation and record. If, at this point, he had the fights under his belt of a Duran, a Chavez, or, perhaps more befitting his defense-first style, a Whitaker, then no one would likely be questioning his motive. As it is, Meow May has yet again shown himself to be a big, sloppy, wet (pussy)cat. Is this an unfair assessment? Besides this current situation, here are four other instances where Meow May has shown his kitty.
In no particular order, Margarito, Cotto, Mosley, and P. Williams. He has made excuses, rather than fights. He doesn’t want to lose his “0.” He guards it, he savors it, the thought of remaining undefeated is intoxicating–like catnip. Catlike and quick, that’s Meow May in the ring. He is very effective against mice, rats, and other less skilled cats. To be fair, he has some notable names etched in his scratching post–Castillo, Corrales, Judah, De La Hoya. However, at this stage of his career he is known more for the fights he hasn’t taken, the fights that would have pushed him, the fights that would have challenged his (pussy)cat heart.
Meow May knows Pacquiao is a different animal all-together. He knows he would be in for a dogfight; that he would have all he could handle and maybe more. I am not proclaiming that Meow May knows he would lose to Pacquiao or that Pacquiao would definitely win. After all, there are some cats that can beat up some dogs. My conclusion is simply that Meow May must realize he would have a pit bull in the other corner. A pit bull that takes punishment, keeps coming, and does not stop. Meow May is just being true to his nature by running away. I do hope the fight eventually takes place; that public opinion and monetary compensation will compel the (pussy)cat to get in the ring with the dog. Here kitty, kitty.

OMG!! Did ya’ll hear the latest Floyd drama? Now on March 13, Floyd is also planning a PPV fight with some as yet unannounced cherry-picked pushover at the same time as Pacquiao VS Clottey!! It is so obvious that Floyd is doing this because he now fears that Manny might break his PPV record. So he is pulling a “Ralph Nader”, which is basically trying to split the vote (so to speak) in an effort to simultaneously undercut Manny’s PPV popularity, AND siphon off some of his PPV profits as well! Geeze!! What a petty and childish man Floyd is!! I can’t believe I used to be a fan of his!

2. NSAC did not ask a random blood test to be conducted for this fight.
3. Floyd and his camp instigated this request. Why?
4. Pacquiao has always been clean in all his fights.
5. So where are these steroid accusations came from? Their evidence will be shown in court.
6. Why did Floyd fight Marquez at an agreed weight then comes in heavier on weight in?
7. Pacquiao refused to be bullied by some talk outside the ring.
Conclusion:
Floyd Mayweather will be knocked out one of these days and loose. God works in mysterious ways.

What is wrong with testing 24 days before the fight and another test right after the fight which PacMan wants to happen and is asking for? Why won’t Mayweather agree to this if he really is not afraid to fight the PacMan? Remember, the testing is for both of them and not just for PacMan.

Floyd has fought two smaller guys in the last two years (Hatton / Marquez) Until he agrees to fight a top welter he’s not even worthy of discussion any longer

You can gain up to 1lb. of muscle a week if you eat correctly and work out guy. I put on 10lbs of muscle in less than 3 months keeping my body fat under 6%. PBF was in his prime weight (welterweight) while the smaller fighters came up to his weight to fight. No TOP 5 welterweight contender has he ever fought.
PAC was always smaller going up in weight to fight TOP fighters in their weight class.
Yes both did beat ODLH on a none tittle fight

I think it will be a good fight if it takes place. Mayweather most likely will suffer a hanged nail or hair bump which will delay the fight and have Mosely off of his game.

It was a part of the contract with JMM that if Floyd weighed more than 144 he would be fined $300K which means that stiupulation was in the contract and thus he did not cheat. But if 2 lbs was such a big deal to everyone who says Floyd cheated why did Pac make Cotto come down 2 lbs under the WW limit for their fight when Cotto was the title holder??

Nobody even knows Josh Clotty and no one cares, so basically he picked a tin can to shoot down….
On the other hand, Mayweather has just agreed to fight the #3 best in the world, Shane Mosely (writers have been saying this could put Mayweather back at #1 spot if he wins)!!! Now is that risk or what?! But Mayweather has been able to compromise and Pacquiao has something to hide and the fans are the victims.
