Thats a fair comment Bobby B. Theres no question the winner of the grace argument. Floyd does have a lot of people dislike him and Manny gets on very well with Hatton who himself is immensely popular with the people. That speaks volumes. I’m glad people can see though, that making baseless claims themselves is as bad as what they dislike against their heroes. As it stands Floyd is not my hero, mine is and always will be Joe Calzaghe and Steve Collins, but certainly Manny carries himself with great dignity.

To David R again. Have you had the chance to view the video on Youtube? It is so solid that Floyd Jr made the accusations. Manny hadn’t heard of this video and when it was presented to him, he was so angered that not only he was slandered but accused his country. That caused the lawsuit to happen. Also with Manny fans, yes we stand by him because he has demonstrated his honor, integrity, graciousness, and humility. We love his boxing but we mostly love the way he carries himself. He owes everything to his fans and to his country. He never takes his own credit except that he works very hard. He even said “I’m ok if I lose. If it is God’s will…I’m Ok.” His actions speaks volumes. His fight with David Diaz, when Diaz layed on the floor, he quickly attended to him. And after the DLH fight, he said to DLH “you will always be my idol.” I honestly believe, Manny knows this is another test for him to overcome. People who carry the weight of a nation often face so much adversity, even false claims against them. It is what it is. There are always be detractors. Floyd Jr won’t see his unbecomings until he gets older. I attribute this a lot from immaturity, ignorance, and having an ego the size of Mount Everest. Floyd Jr has been saying he is the greatest of all time, while making his accomplishments bigger than anyone elses. Manny however, never draws attention to himself, gives credit to others. I have not seen the Floyd official accusations to know if Manny would win in court but, in my previous work in the City (London) in finance (before credit crunch) we get involved in a lot of defamation suits as you can imagine. Civil suits dont require a great deal of support for either side to make a winnable case, but I wont speculate until I have seen the evidence from either party.

I do however not have an opinion on the drug testing obstacle and would say let them take what they want. And its not HGH, will you please stop banging on about that stuff. Its EPO. EPO enhanced fighters would make for a wicked 12 rounder : I dont believe Manny needs HGH as if you compare the pre fight stare off photo with hatton. Mannys rib cage and chest frame, are bigger than Hattons. Thats bone not muscle. I believe Manny is naturally about 135-140 anyhow.

As for a Mosley fight, I doubt very much that until the civil case is dropped Manny will be able to fight any Golden Boy opponent. Shame really, but litigation is not the way forward. A good old drunken arm wrestle is the best way to deal with this.

Considering Schaefer and GBP have already said Floyd will fight Mosley if Shane beats Berto, this is pointless. And Shane isn’t with Top Rank and anyone not with Top Rank will want these blood tests. And what Roach says really doesn’t mean anything at all. He said they would agree to random testing with a 5 day cut-off. The next day Mayweather accepted this proposal but Roachs fighter Manny refused. Roach wanted a rubber match with JMM, but Manny ran from him too. Not to mention that Mosley was calling out Mosley too and even willing to go all the way down to 143 and Manny ran. Manny is scared of Mosley. Floyd will fight whoever is considered the best at 147, but Manny has shown he is intent on cherry-picking opponents. Mayweather-Mosley and Pacquiao-Clottey.

and cotto, remember cotto went into the pacman fight the favourite, the naturally bigger and natural welterweight. pacman was just too good for cotto,even tho 80% of people backed cotto to take pacman out in the early to mid rounds.

Golden Boy has already said that no boxer in their stable will fight Pacquiao without blood testing…including Mosely. Mosely, would want the fight, but contractually, would not be able to take it. PBF doesn’t want to fight Berto, Mosely or anyone else that could have a legit shot at taking his “0″. Clottey is a legit welterweight. There is no way that PBF would step into the ring against an opponent of his caliber. Pac will have his hands full vs Clottey, but even if he were to lose this fight (not that I think he will), he still comes out looking better than PBF.

First of all, am i the only one who read that other article stating that they’re having one last meeting today? Dont you find it funny that they wait for the last monday, the monday originally scheduled for the announcement, to make the deal?
