Boxing is a sports, the contenders are professional boxers. The display i saw during the presscon was sportmanship and pofessionalism.

Those who trash talk got nothing but bigmouth, they need to do that to sell.

The spectators of boxing are mature individuals and to sell an event to them by trashtalking is like insulting their intellect.

Those opponent especialy the great Mexican Warriors are even applauded by Pacman’s fans, especially when they visited the Philippines, including JMM during the Thrilla in Manila 2. Filipinos even took pictures with Eric Morales during his stay in the Phillipines while doing a tv commercial with Pacman and Jet Li.

Boxing is an art and science. And i am grateful that we have this Special and gifted individuals to demonstrate and display this skills.

on the other hand, i have no words to comment whether TRASH TALKING is a sports or an art or a science.

Good luck to all the Boxers! May God keep you away from harm and accident inside and outside the ring.

Boxing is a sport and as a sport it is more on to be friendly. Fans may quarrel but the ultimate obljective is comaraderie. that,s why crowds are coming from diferent places and country to join in one venue as all friends.The author of this article wants thrash talks against each fighter to make more exciting but what they did was opposite, they showed respect with each others. the fighters was just being real to themselves. its a press conference, you did not pay a huge amount of money for you to expect it to be more exciting. press conference means nothing to the fans, its the fight night filled with fans that matters.

Just like the others said, get a life Dave. You shouldn’t have come to the presscon if you have that kind of attitude. It seems to me that you are already BORED even the before presscon started. You shouldn’t have come! Many others would willingly pay you a hundred dollars just to get to that presscon. Don’t waste your time if you’ll just write crap. The world does not need your opinion. I like Manny, but its too many people that think he’s the savior of boxing! He’s a great fighter dont get me wrong but I not completely convinced. Please remember that he faced Oscar de la hoya at 147 easily but begged and begged Cotto to fight at 145!!
Oh yeah pretend like that doesn’t matter right? Cotto was ordered to pay 2 million dollars a pound for being over. He definitely defeated Cotto but why not fight for the WELTERWEIGHT(limit 147) title at 147. But go ahead Pacman ball-riders pretend like
this did not matter!

He became an ICON after beating Hatton and De la Hoya, but Mayweather beat both fighters as well and he “runs” from everybody right. Pacman has some great wins, but he has not fought a lot of fighters as well. The Mexican killer, I’ll give him that!!

Pacman is a great fighter. He is exciting. but I don’t care how much you love Manny, this was really boring. Most of the press conference was people raving about how great the stadium and Jerry Jones are. Their was more about Jones and the stadium than about the fight. Clottey seemed like a schoolkid meeting his sports idol and practically worshipped him. The press conference made one think they should get the fight just to see the stadium. The fight should be the main attraction, not the venue.
