Well, i think clottey now has the chance to really prove what he is made of. This is a good fight and in as much there would be fairness Clottey is going to WIN. by TKO 11.

Pacman is no doubt the no. 1 p4p but Clottey will do what Floyd is not able to do to win that bout.

Lou…bigger puncher?? Get your facts straight since Floyd moved up to 140+ he has 4 TKO’s in 9 fights since 2004.

Clottey has only 2 TKO’s in that time span.

As for the camparison’s indeed just because Clottey lost to Cotto doesn’t mean he will lose to Pac, however Cotto won with one eye for most of the fight. Clottey is a poor man’s Winky Wright….hard to look good against because of his style, hard to hit becasue of high defensive guard.

Clottey is by no means a power puncher…he is quasi agressive but is wind in the process.

What a shame pakyao. Pakyao is a champ (7 divisional titles), he needs as well to fight a champ or at least big name. Like or dislike Josua has been beaten by cotto. i see no reason for pakyao to fight josua unless he wanted ppl to forget soon that he was avoid random blood testing.

No problem with pacman he can do the blood test.The last suggestion from the Maywetaher bout was 24 days.No problem he has done that on Ricky Hatton fight.He has also agrred to tested after the fight so what;s the point that Manny doesn’t want to be tested>he wants to be tested but not to close to the fight.Different people has different effects when blood is taking.And if your using illegals substance im sure it will be detected after the fight because illegal substance must be use and be circulating in your blood on the time of the fight.So let the Nevada or Texas state decide on what testing could be done.Not Mayweather or Clotney because what is the commission if they will be dictated.Floyd just made an excuse.Why worry if your opponet has never been tested for 15 years with illegal substance just fight even who taken steroid has also lost.It’s about the skills and very hard hard trainning that’s some great fights make the fight looks easy>if mayweather said that pacman has one dimensional fighter and it will be an easy fight why will you be afraid you have the height,reach,hometown and maybe weight on the day of the fight.So it’s really an excuse.3 blood test and unlimited urine and the pride of the philippines is also as stake wqhy will you cheat.Even mayweather has been interviewed in skypsports that when he was 16 was also 106 pounds so why right now he is fighting welterweigh and jr.welterwigh division.It’s only his big mouth of his estrange father that’s why talking right that.Ali one of the greatest boxer do hype when he fights he calls animal name on his opponet but accusing of steroids when he fights or loose is not Ali’s way.That’s why even Floyd has zero lost he still not the greatest because of cherry picking opponent and trash talking mentality with having also expert doctor mentality even he has no prior training and schooling.It’s just harassment,jealousy hatred and envy on Manny because when he came back he is not the best anymore and no.2 behind Pacman.If youw ant to retain you respect gowith the biggest fighters and dont be a coward.

Pac, as always go for the best fighter his team can line up for him to fight in the ring. As he always say, “…my job is to fight and give the fans a good fight!” I bet Roach has 1-2 more fights line up for Pac cos he knows once Pac got involved in Phils politics, boxing is just his OTHER day time job. I suggest Clottey demands blood test within 30 days of the fight or refuse to fight if Pacman decline to take the random blood test. If Pacman has nothing to hide, then he must submit to the blood test as a seasoned boxer and sportman. Pacman! come out and accept random blood test without any conditions and face though Clottey.

Motown Clotty is a bigger puncher than Floyd. Most of Floyds ko’s were at 130lb and 135lb at 140 and greater he has only one and that guy assist him by running into the punches face forward. Another thing just because one guy beat the other dosn’t mean he’ll beat the other. Do you recall Iran Barkley knock out Tommy Hearns, Tommy Hearns knocks out Roberto Duran and duran Beats Barkley. If you go by your theory than Pac should stop floyd cause he stop Oscar and everyone knows Mayweather sqeek by an out of shape promoter

Pacquiao vs Clottey goes the distance. Split decision for Paquiao even though it would appear Clotty should have taken it. Mosely vs Mayweather…that would be the first loss of Mayweather’s career and it would be by KO.

Ironona23…you ma’am have no idea what my boxing IQ is. The very first fight I recall watching was on closed circuit tv on 9/16/1981 with my father and brother to watch my aunts boyfriend’s friend..Tommy Hearns fight Sugar Ray Leonard! Ever since then I have been a fan of the sport. I have never laced up a pair of gloves however that does not preclude me from knowing about the sport.

If you paid attention to my post it was directed to those people who first went from saying that Manny would KO Floyd within 7 rounds but turn around and say how hard the fight with Clottey will be as to justify Manny’s choice in opponent.

Regardless of how close Clottey’s last fight was (with Cotto) he lost. Pac is about to fight the guy who lost to the guy he just destroyed!!

Clottey’s KO rate is lower than Floyd’s, he fights wild at times is not an accurate puncher and lacks stamina..those are the facts.
