Karmazin scores spectacular come from behind KO over Miranda!
By Sam Gregory: In tonight’s main event from the Civic Auditorium, Glendale, California 37 year old Russian Roman “Made in Hell” Karmazin 39-3 with 25 KO’s took on Colombian Dionisio Miranda 20-4 with 18 KO’s in an International Boxing Federation middleweight title eliminator in a scheduled 12 round bout.
In the fourth round a clash of heads caused a cut above the left eye of Miranda. At the end of the fourth round Miranda was ahead by a point on the unofficial scorecard of the ringside commentator.
Through the middle rounds of the fight Karmazin proved to be a very game fighter landing solid shots that kept Miranda at bay and kept Karmazin in this fight. The cut over Miranda’s eye was still a concern at this point in the fight.
Miranda had a big round nine landing solid shots that seemed to have him in total control of this fight.
In round 10 Karmazin scored a spectacular come from behind knockout at 2:34 of the tenth round.
Karmazin improves his record to40-3 with 26 KO’s; Miranda fell to 20-5 with 18 KO’s.
