Hatton vs. Mayweather II: You know it makes sense!

By Murdock Mclain: Hatton vs. Mayweather II has surely got to happen. I know everyone in the boxing world wanted to see Mayweather Vs Pacquiao, but now we know that’s a dead end.
So that leaves Mayweather with no options really, Mosley, Malignaggi, Bradley none of these names are gonna make Floyd the type of money he came out of retirement for. So Floyd, who ever since he fought hatton has realized the British public love to get on a boxers bandwagon and throw money at their fighters.
So then Ricky makes his comeback and the names being thrown about are Urango, Marquez, Khan. Well we all know the Khan fight wont happen because of Ricky’s refusal to work with Warren. Urango hes been there done it. Then there’s Marquez a Class fighter but hes lost to both fighters that Ricky’s lost to so if he wins it will be, So what…
I am a massive Ricky Hatton fan but I cant see him winning another fight, he is now past it so I think whoever he fight he will lose, so why not fight the best. He has always said he wants another go at that Mayweather.
So that’s why this fight makes sense to both Hatton vs. Mayweather at some stadium in England, 80,000 paying fans in attendance. Mayweather gets loads of money and an easy fight. Hatton gets a big name for his last fight and hopefully doesn’t lose as bad as last time, Both make loads of money and then we can wait till November when Manny and Floyd sort out there differences and give us the fight everyone wants. I for one will be there.

Prince,If Hatton is such bad boxer!!!!how come he earned £40 million plus in his 47,32,2 career did they give him the money because they felt sorry for him,All so the Froch fight with Dirrell the gazelle!!!!!!!!! Froch took the fight to him but Dirrell ran most of night but when he did trade he had success so if he had fought like that from round one he would have won!!or ended up getting knock out.

at the end of the day floyd made his return for the money and if he takes this fight and stages it in england he can make a pretty good pay day and will i expect gain a bigger fan base in the uk to go on and face pacqio in late 2010 which is what we all wanna see where floyd will show his true greatness by making another boring fight out of manny =and show hes a class above the rest

Floyd was always going to win their first fight,however Joe Cortez’s refereeing was absolutely woeful that night. He did not allow Hatton to fight on the inside hardly at all. Yet, he let Mayweather continually use his elbows without saying anything. I see their second fight – if it happens – going much the same way as their first fight with Hatton possibly getting KOd earlier. This is a pointless match-up.

His most notable win was Kostya Tszyu. He beat a over-the-hill Castillo and a sad Malignaggi. Please watch the replay on any fight that he has fought an ELITE fighter!! if you guys look at the first round of the hatton vs mayweather fight ricky almost knocked mayweather down if ropes did not hold him up. hatton shoud have went for broke and finished him off then. I think if they faught in the UK hatton would have a good chance of winning. i wont bet on it but i like his chances.

Whats Froch done? Won a vacant belt, so didnt beat a champion to get it. Almost lost the belt on his 1st defense against an old Jermaine Taylor who was fighting above his natural weight. Almost lost the belt against Andre Dirrell. Winning on a controversial descision.
I’m one of Ricky’s biggest fans but i wouldnt pay to see this fight. When he makes his comeback the only chance of me watching it is if there’s a chance he wins it. I don’t give him a chance in this fight tbh. Sadly the hitman has passed his prime.

i am a hitman fan but i wouldnt want him to take on floyd again theres no way ricky could win not even at 140 this would be floyd takin an easy fight if it happened .

I dont think Hatton is past it just yet but i wouldnt go back in with Mayweather until i had one or two tune up fights and won them in an impressive way. He beats Urango he gets a belt. Then a unification bout with Khan. If he gets past Khan he can then go for the big names since having 2 belts will make the top fighers want to fight him. At the moment i dont think too many big names would want him.
Hatton loss to Mayweather and Zab loss to Mayweather so why not a Hatton vs. Zab Matchup. It’s only right for these two to fight. They both are Former Champion and they never fought each other before so why not a Hatton vs. Zab super fight at 140 or 147. This would be a Action pack fight to see. Zab vs.Hatton. HOT HOT Action.
