Fedosov stops Butler in 2; Dudchenko wins UD over Atencio

By Sam Gregory: Tonight January 8, Friday Night Fight’s aired their first of 29 fight cards for the year 2010 from Glendale, California. In the opening bout heavyweight Andrey Fedosov scored a second round TKO win over Lionel Butler when referee Lou Moret called a halt to the bout at 2:37 of the second round.

Fedosov improved his record to 21 -1 with 17 KO’s; Lionel Butler fell to 32-16 with 25 KO’s. This was the 8th time Butler lost by KO.

In the second bout of the evening Issac Atencio 2-1-1 with 2 KO’s took on Anatoliy Dudchenko 7-2 with 6 KO’s in a scheduled 6 round bout in the light heavyweight division.

Dudchenko totally dominated the first three rounds scoring knockdowns over Atencio in the first and second rounds. Dudchenko stayed in control in the next 2 rounds and scored another knockdown in the 5th round.

Isaac Atencio survived through six rounds of the fight, after the sixth and final round the fight went to the judge’s scorecards: 60-51 on all three cards for the winner by unanimous decision Anatoliy Dudchenko.

Dudchenko improved his record to 8-2 with 6 KO’s; Atencio fell to 2-2 with 2 KO’s.
