Andrade stops Guereca at 1:18 of round one

In tonight’s co-main event the 2008 U.S. Olympian southpaw Demetrius Andrade of Providence, Rhode Island fought Bernardo Guereca of Albuquerque, New Mexico in a scheduled 6 round bout in the Jr middleweight division.

Half way through the first round Andrade scored a knockdown after throwing several brutal body shots and finally landing a right hook that caught up to Guereca. The fight was called at 1:18 of round one.

Andrade scored the 7th stoppage of his undefeated career to improve his record to 9-0 with 7 KO’s; Bernardo Guereca fell to 15-10 with 3 KO’s losing 6 of his fights by KO.
