There are 25 stories on this site right now and 9 of them are about Khan…why are they shoving this guy down everyone’s throat? Besides a washed up Barrera, who has he impressively stopped?

Khan wont take anything by storm. He is an average boxer being trained by a top trainer. He is as overrated as Hatton except everyone hates him. I mean who has he fought who is decent? His first real challenege against Prescott(who is a poor boxer) and he was smashed around the ring.

I was in the first row of the fight and man what a battle. For those who thought Martinez won, you are wrong. I think if he had a little more gas in the tank he could have pulled it off. Remember, he burn more energy moving backward then forward. He back pedaled and ran almost all night and in the judges eyes its not a positive. The punch count showed Williams as on top and I agree Williams won the fight but not by a large margin. The head butts were awful.

First, PW won a MAJORITY-DECISION, not a UNANIMOUS DECISION as your article stated. Second, Sergio Martinez’s stock was raised dramatically; I thought he beat PW as he landed the clearer and more powerful shots. As far as PW goes, he clearly showed he can’t box at an elite level.

I agree that the 119-110 judge should never be allowed to score again.

Martinez has absolutely nothing to be angry about, he fought like a champion, and the 119-110 BS scorecard does nothing except make the rematch more exciting. He still has his belts, he didn’t take very much of a beating, and he is stil one of the best at 154. Personally I would like to see the rematch At jr middleweight , except on HBO PPV with a full 24/7 series and see it take place in a major arena. That way it would give both fighters the stage that such an event as Williams-Martinez II deserves!

IT WAS A GRATE FIGHT, I JUST HOPE THAT SOME ONE REVOKES THE LICENSE TO THE 119/110 JUDGE, SO HE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO JUDGE AGAIN.
