Tyson Fury: “I Could Beat Both Klitschkos” – Boxing

By Peter Wells: Well the big talking Tyson has once again come out saying stupid comments as he’s gone from saying he could beat Sam Peter, to saying he can beat both Klitschko brothers. Honestly this is coming from a guy who only just beat John McDermott, who lost to Danny Williams twice. I’m British and would support Fury, but saying he could beat fighters like the Klitschko’s is outrageous. We’re talking about a guy who has fought a bunch of pushovers, maybe in 5 years mate, but now you would get whupped.
In an interview with Boxing scene.com, Fury had this to say about what is waiting for him next year, “After Watching Klitschko and Johnson I want to fight for a title now. Them two were pathetic the other night. I watched that and feel that the world is my oyster. Did you see Alexander Ustinov and Monte Barrett? They were useless- I’d stop them both.” After he added, “I believe, in my own head, in Tyson world or whatever you want to call it, that I can beat both Klitschkos, that I can beat David Haye, Chris Arreola, Alexander Povetkin, Eddie Chambers- I believe that I will beat then and reign supreme.”
So that wasn’t being big-headed at all, instead of saying who he could beat, why didn’t he just say I’ll beat every heavyweight alive. Maybe he wants to fight Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali. Let’s just wait to see what else he’s got to say because at the moment almost all of those fighters would destroy him, especially Haye and the Klitschko’s, I’m surprised he didn’t say he would knock out Valuev, maybe that’s what he’ll tell us all next time.

This guy may have some talent in fighting in gypsie camps bare knuckle, but in the ring its a totally different ballgame, he is nowhere near fit enough proven by the 2 stone excess he is carrying round he waist. He flinches whenever somebody throws a shot back at him, not a sign of a fighter to me. Real soon hes going to step into the ring with a heavyweight who can take a shot and more importantly dish them out too!

But seriously, this guy? He’s big, but unlike some people here think, he hasn’t got the tools to even make it into a titlefight let alone defeat the K brothers.

Fury is a talent but he needs to focus on harnessing his skills not his gob, I personally think he beat McDermott. All McDermott really did was land a single overhead right each round making his home crowd cheer loud while fury was putting point scoring jabs and combos together, Im glad Terry O’Connor saw past the home crowd but he did score it a bit excessive, Alot of viewers at home opinions would’ve been easily swayed by Jim Watt, the guy is an awful commentator, When Fury was putting together some shots Watt would describe it as ‘work of desperation’ but then Jim Watt is always completley bias for the promoters fighter unlike ITV4′s commentators like Duke McKenzie, Barry Mcguigan and Jon Thaxton who call it straight.
Haye? the klitchko brothers? Get a grip man and actaully beat the best fighters on the domestic scene… convinsingly. If you cant do that dont even think about european status never mind world. I like the guy and i think he has the tools to one day become world champ but i’m starting to see the new Audley Harrison here.

am with you rozza. every time i see him, am expecting a bit more muscle definition on his body but there is no improvement. that baby fat must go. he’s a very good boxer but by the time he’s ready most of the boxers he is talking about will have retired. he is simply not progressing fast enough.
Tyson Fury is young and maybe could do well one day. He needs to find more self discipline and dedication he seems to be balooning.

tyson fury needs to get in shape first before he even thinks about fighting the klitschkos… if he turns that fat into muscle and bocomes a whole lot fitter he will improve his stregnth stamina speed and power… i think hes a talent but with out the conditioning hell go knowhere!!
