Shaw: “Bradley Ready to Fill the Breach”

Undefeated World Boxing Organization junior welterweight champion TIMOTHY “Desert Storm” BRADLEY is ready to enlist in a war against Floyd Mayweather Jr. or Manny Pacquiao should their fight against each other fall through.
“Timothy is happy to defend his world title or move up to welterweight to challenge Pacquiao or Mayweather should their fight fall through,” stated Gary Shaw, Bradley’s co-promoter with Thompson Boxing Promotions. “There isn’t an active world champion who has been seen more on premium TV than Timothy. Since the day he won his first world title he has proven he is the goods. The shellacking he gave undefeated interim champion Lamont Peterson earlier this month proved Timothy is one of boxing’s elite fighters and a Top-10 pound for pounder. He’s ready, willing and able to fill the breach.”
“I’ll take any random test requested — blood, urine, even the SATs,” said Bradley. “My name is Timothy Bradley, not Milton Bradley and I’m not playing games. I’m ready to fight in March, April or May next year.”
Bradley (25-0, 11 KOs), from Palm Springs, Calif., captured the World Boxing Council (WBC) super lightweight in 2008, dethroning defending champion Junior Witter in England. After successfully defending his title against Edner Cherry later that year, Bradley unified the title by winning a unanimous decision over World Boxing Organization junior welterweight champion last April. Bradley’s most recent victory was also his most impressive, taking the undefeated WBO interim champion Peterson to school, winning a dominant 12-round unanimous decision with scores of 120-107, 119-108 and 118-110, which included Peterson hitting the canvas for the first time in his 28-bout professional career.

Bradley is a good fighter who I think would be a decent fight for Mayweather or PacMan.
Bradley, good luck getting Fraud to fight you. Fraud’s greatest talent is his ability to know which fight is easy and which ones to avoid.

sorry to tell u yanks this but bradley is another over hyped american and khan would give him more than just problems with his speed and power. He would give him his 1st loss aswell.
Neither PBF or Pacman will ever take a fight with Timothy Bradley! Timothy is too much of a threat to them.

This is what I like to hear. A young hungry fighter willing to get in the ring without fear and side stepping the politics which so often damages this great sport. I think Bradley would give PBF and Manny problems, not saying he would beat them but he has a high-octane style which can unsettle fighters.
I dont know why manny just wont take the test, its a bit suspect to me, i mean, the ability to absorb hard hitting fully fledged WW punches and smile, then hit so hard also? And look at his fights 2years ago till now – hes like a different fighter, maybe roach has tapped into something we never knew was there, or maybe Pacman uses PED’s to enhance himself biologically.
Either way its strange how PBF and bradley, paulie et al are willing to take these tests and Manny wont, im sorry i dont buy into this scared of needles rubbish – or that it will overly drain him, im sure he will be able to take a supplement to help him with that anyway. Amir khan isnt ready for bradley – he will be fed gatekeepers and journeymen for another year or two before roach will risk him against a quality contender or champion IN THERE PRIME. I still think that PBF vs Manny may still happen, but 2nd half of 2010, there may be tune-ups to keep them active while the legal bits are sorted.
Boxing needs more fighters like Timothy Bradley, He will fight anyone anywhere anytime. He is not in this game to fight bums like amir khan does, he believes its about proving who the best damn fighter is
