I have to say that it is hilarious that people say that Floyd can’t block all of Pacquiao’s punches from “angles”. This is starting to sound like a Republican campaign slogan. Very repetitive, very deliberate, but not very well thought out. If you know anything at all about boxing you would know that he doesn’t need to block all of his shots if he can counter his missed/blocked shots. This is fundamental boxing knowledge. Floyd Mayweather Jr. is a counterpuncher and you better believe that Pac-Man’s punch output will go down after he has been caught with a few counter rights and made to miss.

compubox numbers when judging!!The first 4 rounds were won by Floyd,then he at least won 2 more or drawed even,plus a point deduction on Castillo!!He got a rematch for this reason i believe,the stats were 40%-35% for Castillo!!That wasnt a typical Floyd showing,but it aint that wide of a margin for a supposedly clear winner!It was the best fight Floyd had been in,and Castillo is a great fighter,who he felt he could really beat,and was eager to prove it!!Castillo was way bigger and did is thing,but he lost!!All those punches with no results!!I didnt count none on them because Floyd blocked most of them!!Forget about the numbers in total,the fight is judged round by round!The second fight was more typical of a Mayweather fight 43%-24%!!That sound like a guaranteed win!!Mayweather has the greatest margin between him and his opponents with a average of 30%!!He makes people look like amateurs!!Its amazing to me!Pacman is the last and only hope to beat him,but i see similar numbers 40-20 range!!Roach talking about starting camp in January.HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!Floyd trains everyday,no time off!!Hardwork definitely pays off ladies and gentlemen,to the tune of at least about 20 million a fight from here on!!!

The bus stops here for Pac. Mayweather has been able to adjust to every fighter that crossed his path, and Pac-Man will not be any different from the rest. Against Mayweather….40 have tried and 40 have failed. Pac will be the 41st to take a L from Money Mayweather. In my opinion, the Mayweather Camp have been preparing for this fight ever since he retired. His camp is wayyyyy to smart and he will be more than ready to take Pac’s title… Mayweather by split decision.

Mayweather has only one stoppage since 2005…2005! Does Mayweather have more power than Miguel Cotto? Somehow I doubt it. This fight is destined to go to a decision.

Perez, I’d like to discuss this from a strict logical point of view. For the moment, lets put boxing aside.
Where exactly in your Roach’s quote does it say that «So the plan of attack for Pacquiao is to bum rush Mayweather on March 13th»? Roach believes Pacquiao will catch Floyd early, but he doesnt state how; nor does he speak about the strategy (if any) hes planning. Just explain me where did you take your conclusion from.

On a different matter, I think Freddie and the rest of Pacquiao’s team have a lot to learn from the Castillo/Mayweather fights; especially the first one. Castillo showed, in my opinion, that Floyd can be caught by a slugger if such slugger keeps his composure and develops a good ring movement.

Do not underestimate Floyd’s chin, power, pride, toughness, ring intelligence and adaptability, and determination. This guy is a thinking fighter, who can adjust his strategy momentarily, without any prompting or help from his corner. Manny is a very good and aggressive fighter, but he is basically a physical fighter, while Floyd is both a physical and mental fighter. Look for Floyd to take Manny to school in this fight, and knock him (Manny) out in one of the later rounds.

However, there will be no loser in this fight, since each fighter will give an excellent account of himself, and earn a lot of money.
