By Liam Santiago: I really hate to be the one who ruins all the hype for the March 13th showdown between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather, but Pacquiao does not have a chance. Why? Because he can only fight guys that come to him. Cotto, Hatton and De La Hoya were all pressurizing Pac Man and trying to out power him. If you stay on the back foot, Pacquiao can not do a thing to you.
Why I say Hatton has more of a chance of beating Mayweather is simple. Pacquiao can not cut the ring off. Hatton, although he has flaws, he is the master at doing this. Not many fighters in history have been better than Hatton at this. Pacquiao, as he proved against Cotto, simply can not fight when his opponent is moving away from him (running). When they walk straight at Pacquiao with their hands down and chins in the air, he knocks them out. But Mayweather will not do that. He is far too disciplined.
If you look at Pacquiao’s recent opponents, they have been very carefully selected. Not only were they shot and weight drained, they were all also come forward fighters. Mayweather is not. I predict Mayweather to take Pacquiao to school and give him the boxing lesson of his life. Who knows, he might even get knocked out…AGAIN!

Floyd Mayweather Jr is simply afraid of the Pacman and he knows that he can’t win. He needs a way out of the fight and blame Pacman that he doesn’t want a blood test. But, Pacquiao is alright with the blood test before the training starts and right after the fight. Pacquiao does not want the blood tests while he is on training as it only drains him psychologically. Pacman is willing to have the urine tests anytime. Those tests are enough to know whether an athlete is taking performance enhancing drugs or not. But Mayweather camp are trying their best to derail the fight because they all know that their boxer can’t even come close to beat the Pacman. In short, Floyd Mayweather is a COWARD!
Pacquiao will KO Liam Santiago and Manuel Perez again!
I will go for Pacman because Liam Santiago and Manuel Perez are for the opponent of the Pac. Both of them always make wrong predictions and they are both Mexicano losers or plainly sour losers.

manny said hes ok with the blood testing after the fight and before the 8 week training camp. whats wrong with that? olympians who won the gold have had test after and some like jones have been found positive. pac doesnt want random blood test taken during training camp because it will weaken him. it aint good for hes state of mind. fighting is 70 to 80% mental. floyd shouldnt talk about being fair when he himself CHEATED MARQUEZ IN THEIR 144 POUND CATCHWEIGHT! You do realise Pac stopped chasing Cotto and shook his head because he thought the referee should end the fight and save Cotto further punishment? Cotto was putting up no resistance, just taking colossal damage. Do you really think Mayweather can stay on the backfoot the whole 12 rounds? Floyd struggled to even keep a slow plodder like Hatton off him during the early rounds of their encounter.

Mayweather beat Hatton at 147 ( Hatton is a natural 140 pounder ). Mayweather beat Marquez at 144 ( actually 146 ). Marquez is anatural 135 pounder. Pacquiao is now a true welterweight and Mayweather does not have any advantage that he can hide. No where to hide.

Although, I don’t agree that Pacquiao has less of a chance than Hatton I do think that Mayweather will out box Pacquiao. If people think that Pacquiao’s key to victory is a high punch output they will be disappointed to see Pacquiao’s punch output be cut in half by Mayweather’s fast counters/footwork and great defense. High punch output goes hand and hand with coming forward type aggression and open defense. Which plays into Mayweather, the counter puncher’s, hands. If Pacquiao depends on this strategy he will either be knocked out or freeze up with no offensive output. But I think Roach will have a strategy that is tactically sound. Will Pacquiao be able to execute it though.

It doesn’t take a genius to see how much damage pacman did to Cotto by looking at Cotto’s bloody face.
