Quintana stops Feliciano

By Eric Thomas: Former World Boxing Organization welterweight champion Carlos Quintana (27-2, 21 KOs) got up off the deck in the 2nd round to stop journeyman Jesse Feliciano (15-8-3, 9 KOs) tonight on the undercard of the Paul Williams vs. Sergio Martinez bout at the Boardwalk Hall, in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The fight was stopped because of a cut under Feliciano’s eight eye. Quintana, 33, needs to step it up a notch. He’s taken the easy route since being stopped last year by Williams in a 1st round blowout.
