HE WON AGAINST THE WEAKEST 140 CHAMP, AND DEFENDED AGAINST THE WEAKEST CHALLENGER, IT WAS HIS FIRST DEFENCE SO HE IS ALLOWED THAT. NOW HE MUST FIGHT THE NR.1 CHALLENGER. But when you are in a position to not have to take a risk against a big puncher, then you aren't going to fight him. It's allll about the general public who know nothing about boxing, whatever is going to sell tickets. If Amir Khan's next fight is announced to fight say Zab Judah, people would say who is he? Oh he is this guy that has fought this guy, this guy, won this, won that...they are the fights that he is looking for. Maidana is a very good fighter and yeah as boxing fans you are always going to want to see these tear ups, Maidana's knockout power could well end Amir Khan. But honestly, the money isnt even there. The general public would believe that Salita is better than Maidana because he had an undefeated record with 30 fights.
