Do I care? Nope, I’m tired of these third-rate title defenses! Pavlik is a victim of poor career management! He was a hot topic after beating Taylor, and now he’s one of the most-scrutinized fighters in boxing.

I would bet Pavlik vs Paul Williams will not happen. Pavlik will price himself out…just as they did with Abraham.
Did you watch his hands during the weigh in? There were no scars. How come a staph infection that was so sever last month and that had survived several months of treatment leave no scars?….. Think about it…

Here is a sypnosis of his record: Since he has snatched the belts from the hands of a fighter everyonelse is KOing, he has defended against the like Locket, Rubio and Espino. He has hidden the american flag when A. Abraham challenged him; he was wacked by a 43 year old grand-father; he has cancelled a bout against a slick fighter, Mora; he has cancelled one, two, three time a fight against the first fighter he did not have a height advantage on.——After going into hidding for 6 months (period when Paul Williams was breathing at his neck), he is now opening his beer-mouth, against someone who did not win the Contender series; was not even second, nor third, not EVEN fourth!!!!!!! What a pathetic display of COWARDICE!!!!

got to agree with you.I have a special place in my heart for middleweight but at the moment its a pretty dry. If Pavlik continues with this he might have to start a friday night fight club in youngstown to keep himself in the action.

There is nothing to be impressed by Kelly Pavlik here. He did not fight someone good. If he fought Paul Williams like he was supposed to. He would have got knocked out. Kelly Pavlik may be a protected fighter.
