Mosley never knew he was giving steroids by Balco. You guys need to get your facts straight and stop listening to FMJ. Mosley took Balco to court about the steroid use and Balco admitted they gave Mosley steroids without him knowing what it was. Mosley won the court case. Also would FMJ ducked Forrest,Winky and took a short vacation when he was suppose to fight the winner of the Cotto/Mosley fight. Also FMJ called out Mosley when he lost to Forrest and wanted Mosley to drain down to 135lbs. That’s why Mosley never fought FMJ. Mosley and FMJ are at the same weight now why not get the fight set up.

After reaching the pinacle of his career, which was after the 1st DHL fight, Mosley became inconsistent losing to Forrest and Wright. It got to the point where you were not sure if he would win fights or not. This took away from his legacy. Now, after defeating Margarito, hopefully he can close out his career with some consistent wins. One thing is all his fights are action-packed.

i couldn’t agree more. mosley could be bigger than mayweather. unfortunately, mayweather has made his cherrypicking and arrongance his brand which the boxing business buys more than guts.

if pacquiao defeats floyd on welterweight then perhaps pacman will be 1st and mosley 2nd in welterweight.

however, if floyd decisioned pacquiao, i doubt that he will fight mosley due to money and cherrpicking concern. thus, floyd may remain bigger than mosley.

mosley was ducking margarito forever until margarito got the title and mosley had nothing to lose he had no choice but to fight margarito and then he rush into fighting in jan,mosley is very desperate and begging for a cash out fight cause he knows when a fast fighter comes around there going to snatch that belt from him thats y his been begging manny,and floyd i mean dam mosley is willing to do ANYTHING to get a cash fight

This article is full of cp. 1st Floyd wanted to fight Mosley long time ago he called him out after the N’dou fight Mosley didn’t want to fight Floyd cuz he didn’t have a big name. 2nd of all the only pple out there for Mosley to fight was winky and,forrest he lost to Cotto and that brought he stock down. 3rd Floyd came back and picked Marquez to show the world that he is a way better boxer than Marquez and Pac. 4th Mosley called out Pac and told him he would meet him at 143 and would take 30 giving Pac 70 but Pac camp chose a questionable Cotto. Bottom line is Mosley is fighting his way back to the top if he beat Berto he is back on top if he loose then his bad. Pac and Mayweather is the center of att. and that just

I would have to agreed with SJ he put it too perfectly. Floyd is childish and arrogant but is skilled so you can compare to anyone saying that this guys can beat but when he fight the biggest stars in boxing he wins. Pacquiao will just be the next and win floyd wins the next man will be “The Great White” of our generation. Plus how can we give a man credit for his great legacy when during his time of true greatness he was a cheater. I like Mosley but as cliche as it is what it is

Some of you didn’t understand the underlining meaning of this article. The article was to prove that by fighting everyone Shane is still not a big star even with his fan friendly style, and Floyd publically side-stepped certain fighters and is a defensive oriented fighter but yet he is a mega star. Had Floyd fought all comers the same way Shane did its quite possible he wouldn’t be as rich and popular as he is today. Would hardcore fans like Floyd more if he was more like Shane (humble taking on all comers)? Probably. But will the casual fans appreciate Floyd? Probably not.

ya shane fought greats but what happen when Merchant asked mosley to fight floyd in 06 ? youtube the post fight interview of mosley vargas II. Shane didnt want floyd that year for some reason (besides his “tooth being loose”), and refused to fight him in 99. just facts people. think shane is a great fighter but he did refuse to fight floyd.
