Greatest fighter in history? Come on do you like the pleads in his slacks too? mayweather has fought some good fighters too. Marquez(just like manny), De la hoya ( just like many,) Castillo (in his prime), Corrales ( when he fought him was cosidered one of the best pound for pound.) Manny is great, and will be remembered as one of the best but not all time. TO beat mayweather you need a good jab, size and speed. Mayweather does have power but is the type of fighter that uses his skills to slowly break a fighter down. THis is the way he avoids getting hit and finishes off late or wins in the cards. THe one shot manny pac man has is his gladiator spirit and a surprise punch to mayweather to spook him. OUtside of that mayweather is too good of a boxer. cotto could have probably done much better if he would have continued to box the whole match. What did he do? he exchanged with manny and we all know what happens when you do that win manny. Mayweather will be uncomfortable for a few rounds of the fight. Id say rounds 4,5,6 will be the most challengeing for mayweather. Manny handles power very very well, but he does not handle speed and intelligence well what so ever. IF he had trouble with marquez counters and speed… I have to ask how will he handle floyds? ANyway, i cant wait to see this fight.

If Pacquiao wins, definitely by TKO and everybody will be talking about it for generations.

If Mayweather wins, it will be via split decision and a long boring night. And his next sport will be in Track and Field. Mayweather will be running all night that he can beat Usain Bolt in the 100-m dash.

To be honest , I can’t tell who will win.

And that’s the beauty of this fight.

I think some of you are forgetting the Master roach effect. I think this will be the key for the fight.
He’s going to find a way to beat Mayweather this time around as he has a better offensive weapon this time than when he had ODLH.
I respect Mayweather a lot but he needs to find a way to neutralise Pacman’s barrage of punches to win even a decision.
Pacman to win on points or 10th round.

people are so hooked on pac man. has anyone forgot that mayweather has beat everyone who’s been put in front of him.he’s a snake with the speed and power angles. He’ll let manny do his thing then punish him for leaping in like he does. manny’s got the purfect style for what PBF has traind for all his life.

I agree with Lechon King for the most part.
Remember, Mayweather does have a good reach on Pac-man and a faster jab. And I’m pretty sure Mayweather will train harder than he ever has. We are going to see Mayweather at his best. Pac-man on the other hand, what are we really going to see different? My prediction Mayweather by decision 115-112.

Lechon King – Hatton never hurt Mayweather once in there bout, he got caught off balance and took a couple of seconds to get his footing right.

This is another biased article against Mayweather. It’s funny some writers on here have been complaining about the negative articles against Pacquiao, then write negative articles against Mayweather – it’s a joke!

Just because Mayweather is unbeaten, naive writers are comparing him to other unbeaten boxers. You know what, there are a good few unbeaten boxers here in Liverpool, they’ve only had 1 or 2 bouts, but there unbeaten so there not far behind Mayweather right?…wrong. He’s a 5 weight World Champion no matter what you think of his previous opposition.

I’m a fan of Pacquiao, but he is not the greatest boxer that has ever lived, even with all his achievements. Let the modern day boxers like Pacquiao and Mayweather box more than 2-3 times a year, then they may have a chance to be compared to legends like Sugar Ray Leonard.

If Mayweather decides to open up some offense that will be he undoing because practically all of his fights are just 1 and 2 combos, lotsa jabs and not many power punches. This will present a lot of opportunity for Manny to hit PBF. And when PBF fought Hatton, on the 1st round, Hatton managed to tag PBF right on the chin and nearly went down. In fact he stumble and quickly grabbed the ropes to keep himself up. Hatton didn’t take advantage when PBF was hurt with that punch and didn’t finish him. Manny hits a lot harder than Hatton and this will present a bigger threat to PBF. However, PBF is very elusive and great defense. This may frustrate Manny but one thing has is patience. Manny will hit PBF hard and when he sees blood, he will go out for the kill. If PBF is afraid of getting hit, that will be his undoing. Manny sometimes thrives on getting hit because it wakes him up and gets adrenalin going. If you watch the Cotto fight, he wanted Cotto to hit him so to feel his power and to set Cotto up. He did what Ali used to do, “rope a dope”. PBF’s fights virtually had no speedsters and great foot work. Manny possesses not power on both hands, but blinding hand speed and great foot work. Punches coming from different angles where the opponent can not see where the punches will come from. He doesn’t telegraph his power punches. Also if PBF uses his hands to block his head, Manny has enough power on both hands to hit those hands that will still rattle PBF’s head. Manny did that to Hatton and Cotto. This is the superfight of the decade and possibly this century. Everyone will be rolling their hands with anticipation. You know for certain I will.

Heard today they are closer to agreeing a deal.
Not sure if this is just the news needing a story.
But i cant wait to see this fight.
It has to happen.
3 Million PPV’s at $55 is about $60 Million dollars each.
Eveyone is talking about Pacquaio V Mayweather, but I also cant wait for Pacquaio V Mayweather II.
They will definitely have a rematch whatever the result. And then possibly a third depending on this.

Where do u get that Mayweather is just an option for Pacquiao? Mayweather can fight other people like Mosley, Williams or Berto. Manny can fight those same people also. They BOTH have other options. They BOTH can make money elsewhere but not as much fighting them fighting eachother. Mayweahter is just an option for Manny LOL, who else can he fight and make the money he will make fighting Floyd? No one
