Hopkins-Green, Darchinyan-Donaire fights in talks for Australia doubleheader

By Peter Wells: A doubleheader in Australia is in talks with Bernard Hopkins coming to Cruiserweight to fight Roy Jones Jr’s conqueror Danny Green. Also fighting will be Vic Darchinyan defending his World Boxing Council super flyweight title against Nonito Donaire in a rematch after Donaire shocked the world by knocking out Vic in 5 rounds.
Both fights should happen and will be exciting to watch, and if they are to both be on the same card it will make for a great night down under. At the moment these are not concrete fights, but talks have begun between the fighters, and for B-Hop this is a big challenge but one he can accomplish. As for Darchinyan-Donaire that can only be a cracker and who wins? I don’t know.

Age got nothing to do with boxing, to move up to heavywht you need to hit hard , and take harder hits , you got speed danny but you lack power , watch the fight between tua and cameron thats the loud mouth against the unspoken tua creamed cameron , so danney if you can knock out every one take the fight to tua , you need to think before you speak .
Danny green ,you are a dreamer if you take on Hollyfeild you will get ko d , a big call when you said you can knock anyone out ,try david tua and you will end like shane cameron kissing the canvas.
I think Nonito beats Darchinyan in the rematch. That seems to be a pretty consistent pattern throughout boxing history. A guy who won the first fight by knockout usually wins the rematch by knockout.

Darchinyan is his worts enemy. He can destroy Donaire any given time, only if he becomes a little more patient. Vic has made a name for himself. Nonito is just an opportunist who hasn’t accomplished anything since the first fight with Darchinyan.
if this gets finalised and shown in acer arena again I am without a doubt coming without question. Buying tickets to the jones-green match was a dissapointment but i would not hesitate at all to buy tickets to see this card live.
hopkins will be to good and to classy for green, if you think greens power will win him the fight look what happend to pavlic.
