GREEN is the champ…. He should in all respect get the bigger slice of the cash. He has the belt on the line. Hopkins vs Green would be the biggest fight in Australian history…. Even with Hopkins 6 years past his prime. No one is saying Bernard is not a good Boxer he has proven his worth over a long period of time. Also in this time expesially in the last decade has also priced him self out of a lot of fights, it would be a shame if he is to do it again.(I dont think that Bernard should fight green he stands to lose more than he stands to gain and in my opinion green would win the fight. Although in saying that if the fight goes ahead and Bernard loses i am well aware that the calls will be that Bernard should have reteried earlier he is not the same boxer as in the past. Once a boxer stands in the ring that is the only person you can beat all I say is give the winner the credit they deserve whoever it is..

hopkins V green. Hopkins is a money hungry boxer, yes he has a bigger boxing name in America but thats not were the money will be earnt in this fight. The fight would most likely be held in Australia as it will generate more money as this fight is unlikely to draw a big crowd in america. For this reason Green is the person actually bringing in the money to this fight, hopkins should be happy that he was offered 50 50 split (danny green is a fair and reasonable business man) as it will be more money than he is able to earn in is other potential fights. its funny that on top of a 60 40 split hopkins wants 50 50 split of Austalia Tv dollars but not willing to share the american TV. Hopkins stop trying to avoid fights. Either fight Green or dont (there are about 4 other smaller paying fights for u at the moment) but dont hide behind money games

All americans are as silly as the words they speak. Roy jones jr could not possibally lose to Danny who!! then Roy jones loses, and the calls are Danny green beat a washed up Jones, funny 3 minutes before the fight was stopped Jones had no chance of losing because he was a superior boxer. As for the fight being stopped the fight went longer than it should have because it was a big fight Jones never recovered from the knock down and never responded to the count he stood there dazed and dumbfounded he had been hit. The ref wanted to give Roy Jones a chance he was afterall on his feet so he let it continue, however Roy had no idea what had hit him and all he could do is place his hands in front of his head. The ref then saw the error he made and was forced to stop the fight before Roy jones jr was killed in the ring. As for the issue of the wraps as a danny green fan I would be very disapointed if this was the case however would be extreamly supprised. Watching previous Roy Jones jr fights he has been knocked out twice before from single punches to the head he is not used to taking clean hits to the head because most of the time he was quick enough to move not on the 3 times he has been knocked out.

B-Hop is a legend at at this point. At his status and age deserves a higher pay. He has a greater chance of being hurt and his resume is far superior to Greens. Who has a win over a Roy Jones shell. No disrespect to my man Roy.

Green isnt the greatest fighter out there but if the fight is in austrailia then he is entitled to a 50-50 cut, afterall he is a massive draw out there and the only reason Hopkins sells any tickets in america is because people want to see him beat.

Hopkins is doing it again. The same way he avoided Calzaghe years ago when he out priced himself out of a fight in Cardiff. It proved to be a good move for him, As time told when they did meet in (America I might add) Hopkins got beat. This kind of thing is doing Boxing damage and if its not Hopkins its Mayweather playing the same games and it all involves avoiding potential hard fights. To much about Money and to little about Honour and desire to be the best. Who will Hopkins fight next or Mayweather for that matter???

This is completely stupid y the hell is Green wanting a 50-50 cut??? Hopkins by far is the more popular fighter, most boxing fans dont even kno who Danny Green is. That said Hopkins is of a whole different caliber from Roy Jones Jr. rite now and i would expect him to bring something big to the table that would completely catch Green off guard, as for Green the notion of him coming out victorious isnt altogether impossible afterall Hopkins is an even older fighter than Jones and father-time can come for him any day now. Green should just appreciate wat hes getting and just take the 60-40 split, if he beats hopkins he can expect more in the next fight
