Firthermore, I don’t think that Roach/Pacquiao are underestimating Cotto at all. Roach has said that if Pacquiao fights on the ropes, he’s gonna lose. It seems that they are fully aware of where the fight will be won, and where it will be lost. If anything, it’s Cotto’s team that is doing the underestimation. THere is something seriously wrong with you if you can’t recognize that this fight is way more even than you think. DLH and Hatton were not as good as Cotto, sure, but that doesn’t mean that Manny still doesn’t have the tools to compete at this level. FOr all you who doubt Manny’s power, he doesn’t need it. Mike Tyson admits that Buster Douglas did the most damage to him, not because he hit hard, but because he hit him so many damn times. Cotto may be more skilled than Pacquiao, but almost every fighter that Pacquiao has faced was more skilled than him. Pacquiao’s downfall for this fight will be Cotto’s power, BUT he has to land. Pacquiao isn’t gonna stand in front of Cotto the way Judah and Mosley did, that’s why Pacquiao’s OVERALL speed will be a much different type of speed. It will come from hands and feet. Like Ali said, “hands can’t hit what the eyes can’t see.” Can Cotto win, hell yeah. Can Pacquiao win, hell yeah. On sunday we’ll know which one becomes reality…

If you see Pacagao priviews lossed figths you will how easy is to KO him (pac man). Pac got a KO by a body punch in one of those figth, and got a KO in the other one by a hard punch on the face. and now you telling me because cotto lossed with “mano de lleso margarito” you telling me that cotto will losse whit pac. Are you crazy? ones cotto start connect pac on the body or face he will get KO’..

look it up on you tube those figth and them say how is weeker.

Being humble doesnt win fights! What wins fight is boxing skills. Both fighters have them but Cotto is technically more sound.

Pacquiao has proved he was a great featherweight but going up in the weights he hasnt fought the best. . . erm… well Hatton was considered the best at light welterweight but his lack of defense made him an easy target for Pacquiao… even though that fight only lasted 2 rounds Hatton did hurt him with one shot.

Now Cotto is a bigger puncher than Hatton, has a better defense than Hatton, wont be drained like Oscar de la hoya and has much more skill than David Diaz so i predict a win for Cotto. If Pacquiao wins i will give him his credit and say he is arguably one of the greatest of all time.

However my money is on Cotto literally, so im praying for a Cotto win as im quite short of cash at the moment lol

Pacquiao will lose. Cotto is going into this fight with the mentality of an axe murderer. Look for a brutal KO in rounds 7-10. And Don’t ever compare Pacman to Mosley, we all know Mosley is 6 times the fighter Pacquiao is.

1.Manny’s team have one big problem: overconfident. The man is a great fighter but they are underestimating Cotto’s abilities (include some Manny’s fans) I don’t know is this is part of Roach strategy, but that actitude don’t help them. (Cotto is far away to been a shot)

2. This thig about get over Cotto on the fist roud
is a very dangerous one and a very risky strategy also. It’s true Manny is fast and he can move but Cotto in an excelent (gifted) couterpuncher and that is mayor if you remember that he can stop Manny in any moment with a single punch.

3. Been confident and put all the future of this fight on “Manny”s power” is also an risk. Cotto prove and demonstrate many times tha he can be hit by a mule and keep fighting. (remenber Margarito, a real, big welterweight, need 11 round’s and finaly Cotto put his knee on the flour and then walk on his feet to the corner, and that’s a tko not a ko).

The cuts will for happen to Cotto I would say around the 3rd. And if Cotto can’t find Pacman, I don’t know how he can win this fight.

a lot of words to say very little. a fight is a fight things happen fighters get cut and even the best fighters dont always blow away every fighter they fight, lets ask this question how would pacman fair against clottey or would he even take a fight with a clottey type fighter i dont think rouch would allow it. margarito, mossley, clottey, mayweather all welters would give hell to pacman dont get me wrong pacman is a hell of a fighter but he is human just like cotto is human lets not forget not to long ago he lost and almost was kod by a past his prime 130 lb eric morales, pacman is not undefeatable.
