One thing that angers me is the fact that people carry on talking about mayweather losing to castillo. Thats the only fight that springs to mind when mayweather is mentioned. what about pacquiao and his MANY disputed decisions? No one ever brings dat up. money is gonna smash this pacman into thousands of bits! Period!

Manny has always respected his opponents. It was never personal. Hence, he held back on a beaten delahoya and cotto. Watch the fights again if you do not believe me.

But this time around, he will not pull back. He will put the hurt on Mayweather. It's pay back time for being accused of taking steroids by the Floyd Sr.

Chris I have to agree with you. I am not taking anything away from Pac but it seems like most of the Pac fans talk about Floyd as if he is just some bum. I tend not to down people before a fight because hey you never know what could happen. In the event that Floyd puts a hurting on Pac those who have talked about Floyd like he is a bum will then have to make excuses. I am one that doesn't like to make excuses so I'll simply say I think Floyd is the better fighter but if all things are equal and he loses than so be it.

If nobody agrees with me, then ask Manuel Perez or Liam Santiago. They're the best sports writers here at boxingnews24. They could be the best sports writer and sports analyst of any boxing site and sport corners.

I think Floyd will KO Pacquiao. Floyd is too much skill for Pacquiao. He even played with Marquez. And considering Pacquiao have a hard time with this mexican fighter. As for Cotto and Mosley, they're just a waste of Floyd's time because they're way behind skill wise. That's why he did not fight them even the money is better than fighting Marquez. This simply shows that Floyed is not only for the money. Otherwise he would fought Cotto or Mosley instead of Marquez. He fights for legacy. So he fought Marquez because he is the nearest fighter to his skill level. As for Pacquiao, Marquez is even way too better than him. Marquez was robbed twice when he fought Pacquiao.

8-10 hooks to the body and head of Floyd with both hands ... when have you ever known a fighter of any generation to put that much on Mayweather without taking some damaging counter punches ?

I am shocked at the level of delusion expressed by some of you on here, especially the Pacman fans !

Floyd is on a different level to all fighters out there currently. Pacman will be out-boxed, out-thought, out-punched and ultimately either Ko'd or will quite on his stool from the beating laid on him, make no mistake !!

Yes, Manny could try to cut the ring down and limit Floyd's escape routes, but then he would need to get very close to pound Floyd's body with hard shots and maybe try and bring his very fast uppercut through the middle of Floyd's guard ... easier said than done of course because Floyd has game plan A through to Z. I just don't see Manny being able to c handle Floyd's unique, elusive style.

I go for Floyd within 10 rounds, with either a straight KO of Manny or with Manny quiting on his stool.

Richard I agree, the fact is if Floyd beats Pac, Berto/Mosley and even P Will he won't get the credit he deserves partially because of the persona he has created. Floyd is my favorite fighter/boxer not because of his personality but because of his gifts and talents.

nepster, my point is as far as figuring out a game plan to defeat a fighter is easier to come by if the fighter has actual lost. I understand DLH is not the same fighter as Pac but frankly some of the advantages DLH had when fighting Floyd, Pac won't have...reach and size, I don't see Pac getting Floyd up against the ropes much. Styles make fights and up to this point, no style has worked against Floyd but a couple have worked against Pac.

over the last 50 years only three boxers have had it all - 1. Ali 2. Leonard and now 3.Mayweather
They can throw any punch from any angle in any starting position. Most boxers look to position themselves text book style before throwing a particular punch.
Not only will Money beat the Pac man but make him look quite ordinary doing it - like Mozart and Van Gogh Money will be properly appreciated when he really retires and yet people just do not understand - here is one of the top 5 fighters of all time

Sorry - and that should be JMM never fought OVER 135. And YES, a split decision loss to Mayweather with one against him being 113-115 in favor of Mayweather is ALMOST winning.
