Time to change the record – Froch ‘BEAT’ Dirrell

By Liam Santiago: I am sick and tired of hearing people saying Andre Dirrell beat Carl Froch. It is really starting to boil my kettle. Recently Dirrell’s trainer or advisor or whatever has claimed Froch was beaten. Amir Khan has also stated his thoughts on a ‘hometown decision’. Bo**ocks! Froch beat him clearly. On my card is was by two rounds. Dirrell came on strong in the late rounds, but that is not enough.
The commentary from John Rawling did not help the critics. It was damn ridiculous. He stated Froch was getting out boxed and missing with everything. At the start of round 8 I muted my television and watched the fight in peace. Anyhow, Dirrell was beaten. Simple. Froch won. It is now time for all the bitter Froch hater’s to change the record and look forward to Froch vs Kessler and Dirrell vs Abraham.

All the people that said froch won are mostly from england and don’t want to admit that froch lost because they have too much pride.They need to bow up and admit that froch got very lucky that he foght in his backyard.Instead of having too much pride and admitting dirrell won the fight they should be ashamed that their beloved froch got schooled the way he did.I don’t understand how they could still have faith and stand by their talentless fighter after he showed that how ameteur he looked that night.I would be ashamed tocall myself an english boxing fan

Dirrell was too careful-if they fought again now,I have no doubts that Dirrell would won comfortably.Froch is like Bambi on ice!

Froch won but i disagree Liam as you say Dirrell came on strong late, I thought that Froch got stronger although Dirrell would have won round ten had he not held
I completely agree after all the judges decision is final. Dirrel held and was very negative. There is no way a European judge would favour another European, they have all fought wars against each other.
Nope actually europe’s in the lead 2-1.Ward pulling off a great win to finally make this a contest.No use kessler complaining about hitting on the break or excessive holding this is proffessional boxing at the highest level and he shudda responded accordingly.froch did, when dirrel held on like a girl, froch threw him off like a man and when dirrel tried to hide his chin behind froch’s shoulder, froch hit him anyway,finally realising he had to fight he did ok, but too little too late. how many challenges over the years have sat in the dressing room still full of beans wishing they’d done more
