Boring article especially when Mayweather has come back only to protect hes unbeaten record by fighting cherry picked bums, the public have a right to criticise because we by the paper views so these guys can make there mega millions.. And as far as Margarito goes look at the blood on COTTOS face that was not normal and margarito is not a big puncher infact hes a CHEATER and should be banned for life.

good article, i dont like alot of fighters but i always have a degree of respect for them, i dont come up with immature names to put them down etc and all this while sitting behind the safety of my computer the way most of u people do.its ok to have an opinion but be respectful.
and very good point about mosley and jones steroids,people seem to overlook that but are so quick to hate on marg, what he did was worse ofcourse but how come no other fighter or cornerman ever noticed anything strange in his gloves..maybe vs mosley was an isolated incident.

I agree Gary although I would have Cotto over Mosley in that respect. Cotto is happy to fight the best consistently and does things the right way. Mosley is one of my favourite fighters but he did recently swerve Clottey because he was chasing a payday with PBF

Slightly patronising though, there is a school of thought that if people pay money to see and follow fighters then they are more than entitled to voice their opinions (negative or positive) about that fighter. Respect works both ways, fighters need to respect the opinions of the fans who pay for their lifestyles

Why should we respect mayweather? maybe your generation respects mayweather as you probably watched him grow and become a champion but these days there is a new generation of boxing fans (like me) who watch mayweather and all we see is a cherry picker looking for weaker opposition, he doesnt care about us fans as long as he gets his pay cheque he is bad for boxing and i long await the day he hangs up his gloves for good.

The writer has some potential. But AnthonyW is correct. Also you seem to think that people who read these articles do not box, im sure you will find some do. You also seem to think you have more knowledge than your readers and thats always a mistake. There is definate room for improvment but you are better than Santiago and Gilfoid.
