I think he’ll come up short against at world level However, his scrap with Moore was the domestic fight of the year IMO, and thats saying something as there has been some crackers in 2009!

Great article, the pacman cotto articles are getting really boring. Rhodes Moore was a great fight, Rhodes chose to fight fire with fire though did well on the backfoot at times (Dirrell should take note how to retreat yet also land). I agree that age is catching up though and time is running out but he is a slippery, hard hitting southpaw and will give ayone in the division a run, hell he’d destroy K9 bundrage or Yuri Foreman who both recently fought in an eliminator

good article! i hope rhodes gets his shot soon! i remember watching him on some naz undercards when i was about 12/13! id love to see him win a world belt! hes a true pro and a good role model for any youngster getting into boxing!

Rhodes is a very underrated fighter, he has a great chin, good movement and has one hell of a punch on him. When he was young he was billed as the next big thing along with Naseem Hamed but never really fulfilled his potential. But i’ll tell you this, know one would have an easy fight against him and if he does fight Martinez i’d fancy Rhodes to KO him.
