The author would probably say that there’s a difference between the “hate” that Manny gets and the “hate” that Floyd gets.

People hate on Manny because of his accomplishments and don’t want to give him his props (maybe because they have other rooting interests, etc.). People hate Floyd also because of his accomplishments (or rather, the lack thereof). He talks & talks & wants us to bow down to his Royal Highness, when he hasn’t earned the right to be mentioned in the rarified air of Leonard, Ali, Armstrong, Louis, etc.

At least Manny doesn’t demand that. He just does his thing in the ring.

The author is clearly talented, however he needs to get his facts correct before taking credit for being unbiased.
He published an article called “playerhaters”, AN EXCELLENT article, but where was the one based on Floyd’s haters?
This cherrypick article, a good write, but it just seems he’s Floyd hating?
Floyd could have fought Kostya Tszyu? – Floyd called him out for 4 years between 2001-2005, Tszyu didn’t want to know and took the $3M to go to manchester to fight Hatton.
Floyd ducked Mosley to take on Baldomir? – really – is that when Mosley could have had the fight in Nov 06 but had toothache???
By the way, manny Pacquiao is my fav fighter but I’d just like to see articles truly unbiased ! and this is pure subjective bias rather than objective like people think – People only think articles are objective when they agree with it’s viewpoints !

ITS SAD TO SEE TALENT LIKE MAYWEATHER cheat the fans by ” cherry picking” after winning a controversial win over jose luis castillo…ever since then he waits till fighters are at the end of there careers and have moved up three division and beats them convincingly,,hey man i look at it like this if your the best and you say your the best,then you must fight the best,,,and take the risks,,because a true boxing fan can not be fooled..
