Pacquiao vs. Mayweather – Round by Round Forecast

mayweather534322By Derrick Villanueva: (Note: This is purely a figment of my imagination, written after re-watching each fighter’s last two fights in succession.)

Round 1 – The “Feeling Out” round. Pacquiao and Mayweather emerge from their respective corners. Pacquiao approaches but a quick jab from Mayweather surprises Pacquiao. Pacquiao fires off his own loose jabs, trying to find range. Mayweather slips around and fires more jabs, utilizing his reach advantage. Pacquiao attacks aggressively, eating a right on his way in. Mayweather has his back on the ropes. Pacquiao fires off 2 4 punch combos in succession, while Mayweather bobs and weaves and parries. Pacquiao connects with 2/8. Mayweather escapes to the side, fires off a right hand which hits as he catches Manny trying to follow up. Pacquiao turns, taps his fists as if to say “Bring It.” And the Round Ends. Round Winner Prediction: Either.

Round 2 – More of Round 1, with Pacquiao attacking and hitting Mayweather with about 25% of his power shots and Mayweather connecting with 50% of his straights. Nobody is hurt yet. Round Winner Prediction: Either.

Round 3 – Pacquiao lunges at Mayweather on Roach’s command, throwing another couple of 4 punch combos. Mayweather tries to slip away to the side but Manny moves to one of his weird angles and cuts off Mayweather’s escape route. Mayweather bobs and weaves as Manny throws another couple of 4 punch combos. Money finally fires off a left hook and escapes from the ropes, hit with about 30% of Pac’s shots. Pac follows but further attempts to trap Mayweather fails as Mayweather pussies out but uses his jab to keep the Pacman at bay. Round Winner Prediction: Pacquiao.

Round 4 – Mayweather stays out of range, firing his right hand every time Manny steps to attack. Manny moves to a weird angle which gives him an open angle to unleash a combo. Money evades but is forced back towards the ropes. He fights off the ropes hitting Pacman with straights and the occasional left hook while Manny unleashes his “Punch Out” routine on the bending, twisting, slipping, rolling, Mayweather, landing one or two before Mayweather escapes and taunts. The Pacman taunts back. Round Winner Prediction: Either.

Round 5 – Pacquiao moves forward with a different plan of attack on advise from his corner. He eats several jabs and straights until he gets Money onto the ropes or corner. Pacman starts landing body shots on PBF. Floyd hits Manny with a left hook and escapes. Pacquiao does the same thing for the rest of the round, mixing head and body combos. Round Winner Prediction: Pacquiao.

Round 6 – Mayweather keeps Manny at bay with the jab. He is advised to stay off the ropes and the corners by Sr. and to Run and Gun. Mayweather follows the plan until tiring by near the end of the round where Pacman rallies and lands thudding combos to the head and body. Round Winner Prediction: Mayweather.

Round 7 – More running and gunning from Mayweather, cutting Pacquiao. Infuriated, Pacquiao starts reverting to his old devil-may-care style but with one difference: He now knows how to “cut the pie” and prevents Mayweather from escaping. Pacquiao is punished by counter rights and hooks while he continues pounding on Money’s face and body. Round Winner Prediction: Either.

Round 8 – Mayweather is weary this round from the pounding he has received on his body and to his face. He hits and runs, and uses every defensive trick in his book to avoid Pacquiao while hitting the chasing Pacquiao with straights. Pacquiao’s connection rate decreases with the cut on his eye and he doesn’t catch Floyd with any flush shots this round. Round Winner Prediction: Mayweather.

Round 9 – Freddie Roach rallies his prized pupil and Pacquiao bounces towards Money as if it was the opening round. Mayweather, slower because of last round’s running, is cornered and is subjected to non-stop punching from Pacquiao. Mayweather escapes barely. He knows he Might have the Pacman on points so he starts running around. Pacquiao, tired of all the running, stops chasing. Mayweather is forced to attack with an occasional jab. Pacquiao ducks under one of those jabs and lands a hook/uppercut that finally cuts PBF. Round Winner Prediction: Pacquiao.

Rounds 10-12 – Floyd Hits and Runs, now respecting the Pacman’s power and Pacquiao chases and lands occasional blows/combos. Round Winners: Either.

Winner of the bout: Manny Pacquiao by a close, split decision.

Yep, that’s how it played out in my mind. I don’t think Floyd has the power to knock Manny out and I don’t think the Pacman will hit Money enough times to knock him out. I don’t think either one will come out of the fight unscathed either. One thing’s for sure: It’s Gonna Be Good.

if Vegas becomes the final venue floyd jr. cannot decision pacquiao as this is considered bob arum’s arena. thus, floyd jr. has to take chances in working it out w/ manny. that is probably the reason why floyd jr. wants another venue. but the money is so huge and at the end he has to give in to the promotion’s demand.

  • Doug says:

Manny will knock him UP??? Well, it will be on pay-per-view… james, you’re an illiterate knucklehead.

  • Anonymous says:

last sentence should be: its gonna be bored.

  • Jay says:

I can’t wait to see this fight …

Pat, you’re right by taking it back to the day’s of true boxing when the winner of the fight will receive the greatest reward(s)

So Stop the BS, and LETS GET READY TO RUMBLEEEEEEEE…………………..

  • lol doug says:

“This is not a Victory parade, You are in an ambulance….”

    bahhahaha

  • Doug says:

Paquiao-Mayweather… “Mister Slippery”, Floyd Mayweather gets Degreased by Manny Pacquiao…
No Floyd… This is not a Victory parade, You are in an ambulance….

  • Pat Sullivan says:

Manny will never hit Flloyd Jr with a punch like those landed on Hitboy. PBF NEVER opens himself up for those types of solid shots. Manny’s best shots will be glancing over the shoulder blows from right hooks while PBF is in his all too familiar defensive posture.

Like I said before, PBF unanimous 12 round decision.

One last comment on the possible contract stall………..word is that both men feel they deserve the lion’s share of the purse for various reasons yada yada yada and may hold out due to this. I say make it a 60-40 or 55-45 whatever and give the lion’s share to the ‘lion’ who wins the fight. End of bs contract stalling already.

  • Willy says:

Nice prediction!!! both them will win they bag 20-40 million dollars each one LOL!!! so start betting now!!!

  • Tad Durano says:

the fact is no one can beat manny right now but manny himself..he just keeps improving in every fight, cotto ran and ran in the late rounds but manny still caught him. mayweather is not invincible he just made it look so by choosing easier opponents..hes good ive seen him fight, but once manny hits him and hits him good. pbf will go down ,if he gets hit by the same punch hatton got hit with..goodnight floyd! that was one if not the greatest punch ever thrown and landed in boxing even a light heavyweight would have gone down with that punch..manny will retire as one of the greatest boxers of all time!

  • santinonoc says:

Toink…. in my mind I think pacquiao won over mayweather via TKO in 2nd round… 1st round: Mayweather knocked down twice and in the 2nd round mayweather in his third knocked down, dizzy, and go to sleep until he is awake at the hospital!! That’s all in my mind… thank you for free day-dreaming!! LOL :)

  • Jay says:

I really believe this will be a great fight, and both fighters will put everything on the line. I am a Boxing fan and back both PBF and PACMAN – I believe Floyd will lose this battle, for the simple fact that he does not have the hunger (the social condition of people who frequently experience, or live with the threat of experiencing, the physical sensation of hunger) that is needed to win a fight of this magnitude.
PACMAN is fighting for a country – PBF is fighting for $$$$$$

  • monny whatever says:

i think PBF can’t even win against miguel cotto mosley is a better choice.

pacman is not even afraid of floyd…see despite many told he has not fully recovered from cotto’s fight and yet the date of the fight will be a campaign period for the lawmaker pac (i wish he just keep on boxing). pac is going to do a lot more campaigning than boxing this time coz what he just needs to do to beat floyd is to practice running fast forward in order to reach the chin of floyd…floyd cannot be hit if he perfected running backwards faster….it’s gonna be like a hunter chasing the deer….hahaha

  • Pat Sullivan says:

“But Floyd can adapt, and is probably one of the most technical boxers of all time. Many would argue he DOES have the best defense and technique of all time.”

No need to argue about it – he does. I just watched Andre Ward tool favored Mikkel Kessler on the Showtime Super 6 last weekend and his style is amazingly similar to PBF. He was barely scathed through 12 rounds of super middleweight action where Mikkel was the odds are favorite for the tournament and thought to be the very best in the world. Scores were 8-9 apart for a few of the judges in Ward’s favor. Just can’t score on a superfast tactician like Ward or PBF. Your only chance is to stun with a big one and pounce for a KO cause you’ll never hit them enough to point them.

  • yaboi says:

The thing about Pac is he gets better every fight. And I don’t think he’s even reached his peak. He’s only started to be a more complete fighter the last couple of fights. Everyone keeps bringing up the Pacquiao from the Marquez days, which I feel is a mistake. I don’t think we currently know what Pac’s limits really are.

As for Floyd, who’s to say that anyone has been able to truly test his limits? I haven’t seen all of his fights, so there were probably some instances where he did have trouble. In the Hatton fight, I felt like Hatton was able to, if not pose any real threat, at least fluster Floyd with his pressuring.

Pac can pressure, but he’s better in almost every sense than Hatton, and so has the tools to build off that pressure. And doesn’t Floyd have trouble with southpaws? But Floyd can adapt, and is probably one of the most technical boxers of all time. Many would argue he DOES have the best defense and technique of all time.

    So many variables….

  • GOLDENBOY says:

pat, ur right with only a few of that but pacman is bigger now, much stronger.if pacman will fight marquez, it’s a different story now. if pacman will fight smart(like with me),he will surely wins by KO or UD. mayweather dont have an iron chin like pacman have, see what judah and hatton’s punch did to floyd. PBF almost went down, im sure pacman has the stronger punch than judah and hatton. “that’s for sure” LOLs

  • HITMAN says:

ur a genius oscar! that’s it! we bought tasted manny’s punches! and we cant deny his power. if he used it with cotto, im sure cotto will be KOed like me.. go pacman… im a big fan of yours right now! i know you can KOed that trashtalkin JR!! ill be watching that fight LIVE! see u there soon

  • GOLDENBOY says:

  • Pat Sullivan says:

I love to watch Manny fights. I refuse to watch (pay)for PBF fights so I will have to wait for a week or two when it is re-aired for free on HBO. I gave up on PBF fights years ago after realizing there is no point. He cannot be beaten. Most of you who will watch will watch for this reason and this reason alone (to see him put in his place for once)….and you will be let down once again. He is far too fast and cagey for any fighter to outbox him from the outside and he will have a great reach advantage over Manny. He will shutout Pacman the same way he shutout Marquez. Should Manny bring the pressure and try to get inside? Others have tried – it only leads to potshotting and holding.

If you really want to get your hands around the truth rewatch the PBF Maruez fight and rewatch the Pacman-Marquez fights. Marquez was plenty fast enough to get off on pacman and punish him for two fights. He barely even scratched PBF with what…78 landed punched in the entire fight and that was generous by compubox.

Bottomline, Pacman will not be able to land enough punches on PBF for any hope of even a split decision or best case scenario a majority draw, and the low punch totals will make any chance of a knockout extremely impossible. PBF aunanimous shutout much like his whipping of Marquez. Don’t waste your money on this one.

  • Ron says:

Are you serious? I don’t like PBF but you have to give credit when credit is do, Mayweather is a Ring Master, yeah Pacman defeated Cotto, but Cotto was on the decline anyway after that wooping Margarito put on him, the Clottey fight was a robbery and Pacman had a chance to fight Mosley but i didn’t. So who’s really running, look at Pacman’s last fights, De la Hoya lost to much weight to the point he look sick, Ricky Hatton a bum anyway we seen that when PBF danced around on him, after all that being said PBF & Pacman virtually faught the same fighters except PBF faught them when the were a little healthier, it’s easy to gain weight and fight than it is to lose weight and fight, remember that!

  • Junior says:

Did u guys not hear the post game interview of pacman and dela hoya?’ He’s too fast’. Did u not see pacman put Ricky Hatton to bed within 6 minutes of them boxing. Wasn’t cotto one of the top welterweights in the business? Cotto beat mosley, pacman put cotto away too. Mayweathers been in trouble with zab Judah, de la hoyA, and Castillo. Pbf hand picks his fights and just can’t duck the top fighters anymore. Can anyone say Mosley? Floyd has absolutely no stopping power n no chin. It’s b lights out with him getting injured. At the end pacman will just say ‘i was just doing my job’ and smile. Man!!! Cotto was a beast with his stopping power but pacman is just way underrated.

  • sam cabrera says:

there were so many predictions before manny fought cotto{louse in filipino language}.kuto fans still can’t believe what manny did to their hero.it will be a good match but i foresee a black mayweather turning pale, tiring, retiring and retireded. watch out maywither fans!

  • Boxing Genius says:

Raw, Tommy, Abe, Your Momma, Pimp C, SMG, Locc. boycey, Dom, geezy305…I want all you cats to say something after this fight whoever wins cos I want yous to eat your words on being so confident about Mayweather. I will be the 1st to admit i’m a F**ckwit if Pacquiao loses but that’s not gonna happen. It will be you single minded f**ckers that can’t see Pacquiao’s ability for what it is..the most dangerous man in the ring. There’s so many others that said Mayweather will win by decision which I dont have any probs over cos they see it going all the way but they are not as FKN stupid as you guys and doubt Pacquiao’s knockout ability. Step up to the plate and admit that Pacquiao is great when he wins and I’ll do the same with Mayweather if he (hahahahahaha) wins……

  • Boxing Genius says:

Hmmmm….I am a big Cotto fan and I knew deep down inside he will get knocked out but I still believed he wouldn’t. I guess I was right. I’m guessing I’m gonna be right in saying that noone that Pacquiao fights comes out unhurt nor can they handle his power. He isn’t the old Pacman, he’s the new improved Windows 7 version and Mayweather will have to run around the ring to escape a knock out because he will get hit for sure. Every fighter that Pacquiao has fought has said that he was too fast and they didnt realise it until they fought him. Looks can be deceiving cos hes faster than you expect. I truly believe that Pacquiao’s left hand is the most dangerous hand in boxing like Tyson’s right was back then. This fight won’t be a good fight cos of Mayweather’s running around but all you Mayweather fans can pray like I did with Cotto that he doesn’t get knocked out cos I can’t see it any other way. Mayweather fans are all in uproar over this but I wanna know where all you F**kers are when he gets knocked out. Who has he knocked out really?? Hes worn them down then they fell down. That lefty that Ricky hatton received is present in every fight and could come at any time. If Cotto couldn’t hurt him then Mayweather’s got no chance. I sound like a Mayweather hater but I live in reality and not even a fan of any of them so i can look from outside the box. I’ve watched most of Mayweather’s great fights and Pacquiao’s great fights and Mayweather will get his pretty face ripped to bits and then put to sleep.

  • JosephBTS says:

Keep on dreaming, cause I think this fight will not materialize in the near future

  • fan of both pacqiao & mayweather says:

Mayweather is a very talented fighter. His defensive and elusive style will beat most fighter who are slower than him. He can even beat a lesser fighter who has the similar hand speed and footwork. Unfortunately pacquaio also has very fast footwork. It is a matter of mathematic and science. If Mayweather don’t want to get hit and try to run around pacman, he will have to run faster to cover more distance and therefore use up more energy. Pacman will be able to corner him in later rounds. Mayweather protect his face, Pacman goes for body shots combinations. If Mayweather gets hurt and try to protect his body, he will get knockout. There may be danger for pacman when he goes for body shots, because he will be exposing his chin. Pacman is tough, but a hook in the chin by mayweather can still potentially knockout pacman. A straight jab will not KO pacman, he is tough, as demonstrated with Cotto’s fight. I don’t see this fight will go to a decision bases points. I see a 65% probability that Pacman will KO Mayweather. I also see a 35% probability that Mayweather will KO Pacman.

  • carlos says:

I enjoy watching both boxers fight, but I do think Money will win. My reason is simple. Mayweather is one of the best pure boxer counterpunchers and Manny’s last 4 fights were not against great counterpunchers. His last fight against a great counterpuncher (Marquez) was very difficult for him and he barely escaped with a SD. Styles make fights. Also in the Cotto fight from round 5 to 8 when Cotto began to counterpunch effectively, he was giving Manny a good fight. But you never know Manny has many great boxing gifts and he could come out on top. May the best man win!!

  • Guest says:

Can’t wait to see if this bout is agreed.

Pacquiao will have to learn how to adopt plans B and C in this bout, to my memory I have yet to see him adopt or change his tactics during a bout.

Mayweather will have to be hopeful he has shaken off the ring rust in the Marquez bout. He is going to be pushed a lot harder in this bout.

  • geezy305 says:

YALL MUST DONT KNOW ABOUT BOXING IF YALL THINK PACMAN GONNA BEAT MAYWEATHER…MAYWEATHER IS GONNA DESTROY PACMAN…PACMAN HAVE NO DEFENSE AND LEAVE HIMSELF OPEN ALL THA TIME…MAYWEATHER GONNA DO HIM LIKE HE DID GATTI…

  • Dom says:

Derrick Villanueva you forgetting Mayweather is the most skillful fighter of this generation? Get your head checked out pal. . . Mayweather will open up a clinic on Pacquiao!!

  • boycey says:

    mayweather different league guys

  • Duh says:

Mayweather wins UD or late TKO…

  • Taff says:

Stopped reading when in round 3 you say “Mayweather pussies out” Clearly a Floyd hater, so you would never take him to beat Pac. PBF all the way against Pac, wide UD or late stoppage!

  • Manuel Perez says:

You guys got it all wrong. I’m not a pacquiao fan but this time I think he might win. With PBF running around the ring with his tail between his legs most of the time, i think he’ll make it a boring fight. PBF will lose by unanimous decision.

  • NALLEGE says:

Good analysis, and I can’t wait to see this fight. For those knuckle heads that are not giving Pacquiao a chance are a bunch of troglodytes. Yes, Mayweather is a telented fighter, no doubt about that, but he is hittable and he is not superman. Manny will get his, and when Manny lands his punches on Mayweather’s body it’s going to hurt. I think Judah knock Mayweather down but the Ref didn’t count it as a knock down.

LOCC states this “Theres no possible way Mayweather will lose he has everything he needs to beat Paquiao. He just needs to utilize it”.

What are you a fortune teller? LOL. NO possible way, huh. Well I have to disagree, there’s always a possible way. See, Manny is way smarter now than two years ago. Manny can slug it out or box in any moment. When you tell him that he has no chance then you will be proven wrong once again. So, what happens if Mayweather doesn’t utilize his tools or utilize it but fails?
Exactly, there are so many variables or intangibles, so we just have to see come fight night. My prediction is that Manny Pacquiao will be frustrated by Floyd’s running style, but he’ll figure out a way to trap Floyd often enough and beat him up. Floyd will be injured in this fight for real, especially when he gets trap. Remember Floyd has a broken ribs, fragile hands, and his left shoulder is a wonderful target for the Pacman’s weird left hook-upper cut. Once Floyd is trap, Pacman can do this, right hook to the body, where the ribs are exposed. Follow it up with a weird left then another right hook to the shoulder or temple. Boom!!! Floyd is going to feel it.

    PACMAN by late TKO.

  • JN says:

Great article. I think judges will give it to Manny just to bring Floyd back for another huge money maker. Maybe a third!

  • motownhitman says:

Ok floyd tiring? Has this guy ever watched Floyd fight? If he watched Floyd’s last two fight there is NO indication that he will tire! I am still baffled by how people go on about Floyd not fighing anyone like Manny but Manny hasn’t fought anyone like Floyd and still has a few L’s on his record.

  • John says:

Very entertaining. Can’t wait to watch the real fight… Live!

  • bruce says:

pacman will win but after that he shoud stop dont figth mosly because of so many people he fougth he will end up like ali

  • Manny Pacquiao says:

I not chicken like Floyd. I have 4 punch combo. Floyd only one punch combo. I knock out Floyd. I best!

  • roy says:

counter puncher gave pac trouble in his earlier fight, marquez and Erik Morales.but since then pac has develop stepping to to one side and counter punching right back,he has a long reach ask long arm 6ft oscar as his jab, got counter right back with a crisp 2 punch combination ,and pac has also develop a new short uppercut into a ko punch,. floyd going to be overwhelmed and very surprised that he getting hit regularly and the power of manny punches I say floyd going to get ko ed after pac breaks him down.

  • ignorant perez says:

I don’t think it will go that way, cause if the match will end up on a decision, Floyd could win, He may out box pacquiao, The key for Pacquaio to win is if he landed enough punch that would rattle floyd’s brain.

  • Locc says:

Paquiao wont win… One Mayweather is bigger and stronger. Two Mayweather is too smart of a fighter. Three if you go back to the Jose Luis Castillo fight yes Mayweather lost but he learned from it so it wont happen again. Four Paquiao will get caught with a Mayweather left hook or straight right hand and get stunned believe that. Five Roach is running his mouth too much causing Mayweather to prove a point and hurt Paquiao. I personally think Mayweathers power is little underrated … Theres no possible way Mayweather will lose he has everything he needs to beat Paquiao. He just needs to utilize it.

  • bug says:

your imagination is like a little close but pacman will knock out mayweather in the real fight.

  • Abe says:

kobe you must know watch or know anything about boxing huh? lol yeah marquez and pacquaio dont have the same style….marquez is defence fighter like mayweather….but mayweather is the best defender of our time….so if marquez whose defence doesnt match mayweathers gives pacquaio a hard time imagine what a ball mayweather is going to have!! its going to look like a high school prom!

  • SMG says:

FMJ will get tired and Pac will become a great technician. What kind of dream is that? I see Pac going down like once or twice from lunging forward and FMJ will use either his check hook or straight right. Common 5-6in reach advantage to mayweather and 2 in height advantage

  • Krista Ranillo says:

PAC will give it to him hard. I know so.

  • Dodo says:

Nice article. This is the most likely scenario it will play out. Much love to the author.

  • Pimp C says:

Mayweather by knockout. What is the cat talking about. He must be on PCP.

  • JD says:

Interesting article… watching mayw’ move, it’ll be hard for pac to land. but the way pac does pressure you, mayw will get tired and he will be more hittable in the later rounds… i say pac with a KO the 10th.

  • del boy says:

As much as i want pac to win i think mayweather will be a step 2 far but it will be close.

  • Floyd Mayweather says:

Cmon guys. I cant be stopped. I am UNBEATABLE. 40-0 . 40 have tried. 40 have failed.

  • noypi says:

First round, first left hook by Pacquaio will be Mayweaather first knockout!

  • JD says:

Pac’s ability to throw from weird angles will lead to PBF being KO’ed. Pretty Boy is use to being able to just shoulder-roll and duck away. This won’t work against Pac for an entire fight and PBF should be stopped late in the fight.

  • just me says:

how many world titles does pac have and how many does floyd have, pound for pound? there!!!

  • Your momma says:

Your lame pacquiao will get frustrated and not be able to hit Floyd will eating numerous counters. He will be knocked out in the 9th, pacquiao does not do well with great boxers that is why he lost to morales and why he has(should have) lost to Marquez.

  • We all want it says:

Given Mayweather’s history of very “selective” title defenses (Hatton, DLH, etc.) I’m just excited that he’s entertaining the thought of this match! Shut him up once and for all PAC!

  • kobe says:

    pacquaio??? yeah, thats my boi!!!
anyways, whoever said mayweather will treat pac like marquez is dumb because pac and marquez have different styles. pac is a pressure guy whereas marquez is a counter puncher. know your facts, dummy.

  • peplz says:

Mayweather is going to get tired Huh? Don’t count on it. Pacquiao is going to pin him against the ropes? Don’t count on that either.

  • Paul Mason says:

GREAT ARTICLE, YOU GOT MY VOTE ON THIS ONE

  • Abe says:

Mayweather is going to treat Pacman like he did Marquez…..!! who ever says mayweather will get knock down by pacman doesnt watch boxing but is with the HYPE!! u guys….reality the only way mayweather loses this fight is from natural casue if he has a heart attack in the middle of the ring!

  • Tommy says:

Pac mans off balance punches may cause him to hit the deck early. I know some people are going to be very upset May 2010. Floyd will land more punches and is going to win the card.

  • Tim says:

Mayweather tiring? Haven’t seen that before lol

  • james says:

mayweather will run around the ring like he always does.but manny’s speed will catch up on him and will get knock the f#ck up.

  • jje says:

    pac in 10 rds…tko…

  • ben says:

why some people has to use harsh words to disagree..i just don’t get it. If i say pacman would mess up money’s mouth and u don’t agree..will u call me idiot too? u are a psycho hahahaha

  • jordan says:

How is mayweather going to tire at like round 6? mayweather has the best stamina in the game and no way hes gunna go to the ropes he knows, I think mayweather will not hurt manny but can catch him off balance and put him down.

  • kelkath says:

lol, i don’t know if Pac Man could penetrate Floyd’s defence. I am interested if Floyd could do something when Pac Man uses his “weird angle technique” (sound like a Kung Fu move). It will be a very, and I mean very exciting match!!

Saw ESPN who anounced that the match might be on May 1, 2010. The purse might be 50/50. It’s unknown where the match will take place.

  • Anonymous says:

    nice thought like it

  • Peter(Hitman Fan) says:

I agree with you their raw but in these fight you do get judges giving it either way, but he could have gave his rounds prediction and not what the judges might give, i didn’t mean disrespect i was just saying. i din’t agree with his prediction but it was a very good and unbiased article.

  • Peter(Hitman Fan) says:

once agin great article and love the description of the stats, best article i’ve read in a long while.

  • raw says:

C’mon Peter… He gives Manny 3 rounds, Floyd 2 rounds, Either wins the rest, but Manny get’s the SD?

  • Peter(Hitman Fan) says:

raw, manny will win this definatly and oli come on ‘it will be nothing like that’ why don’t you write your prediction, give the guy a break, he’s the first one to put something like this, i liked it very much instead of writing a tiny prediction of the fight, he did a round by round fight which was very good.
    Great article Derrick.

  • raw says:

What an idiotic article. You must think Mayweather is Miguel Cotto. If the fight is signed, reality will set in soon enough. No way Mayweather is dominated by any boxer under 160.

  • Oli says:

what imagination. it will nothing like that

  • Daniel Ciminera says:

i read this sentence in the 1st paragraph, “Pacquiao fires off his own loose jabs” and was tempted to give up on another pacquiao hater.

i read on and think you’ve got it about the same as i have at the moment. though i have changed my mind about 7 times about the outcome of this fight already
