Cotto did what he could, no shame in that!!! And to hear by his own words that he was ready to give up at the end of the 11 round but change his mind and came out for the 12, speaks volumes about his character, He would go out on he’s feet rather than siting on a stool…..Bravo for the warrior.

There is no doubt we are in the presence of the greatest fighter in Pacquiao in the last 50 years if not more!.

Mayweather at this point most be prepairing for another “Flash” retiremente!!!

Cotto trained to beat a speedster for 2 months roach knew this. So Roach made a boulder instead through kick-boxing body hardening technique popular in asia and cotto has no more game plan because he found out his body punches dont work anymore.

When you have no more game plan i dont care if the margarito fight never happened you will lose.

Manny had chin because he prepared for Cotto’s punches thats why his conditioning coach used mau-thai body hardening training. His body in weight in looks more solid than usual. If you analyze the fight the pac camp knew cotto was preparting for a fighter that will be elusive but roach’s game plan was great because they threw everything cotto prepared for out the window by using technique cotto never prepared for. They broke cotto’s confidence when manny stood infront of cotto letting him punch him with no effect. Cotto’s confidence is in his punch and when he realized that dont affect pacquiao his game plan is lost. If you lose your game plan u work for 2 months i dont care if you never fought margarito, you will probably still loose. The trainers are the key to the fight.

Great article mehn! I can’t believe myself what Pacqtuiao did last night. He fought like a true welterweight. I believe Cotto is in alot of trouble if Pacman really fight like in Hatton fight, instead he face Cotto head on and make Cotto run like a little girl. Now tell me whos the real welterweight now.

Cotto hasn’t been the same fighter since the margarito fight. Its sad to see someone do that to someone. If manny would of fought the older cotto manny would of not had a chance i don’t care what anyone says. Manny Is not a great fighter his just anothe mayweather that knows how to pick his fights. fighting a beat down miguel cotto is not very copetitive. First a burnt out oscar then a c average hatton and now a mental and physical hurt cotto due to a cheater margarito. Its sad to see a great fighter go through so much pain only he knows how he truly feels.

I am a big Cotto’s Fan.

Wow, I thought Cotto was going to beat Pac with his skills and strenghts, but I was really wrong. Cotto didnt make any mistake the only mistake he made was not seen where all those punches were coming from. Now I am sold with Pac being not just a Super start but been a monster. I felt that I had to post a comment and give Pac some props. I dont see anybody beating Pac only Paul Williams can give him some trouble.

To Andrew Evans: I believe that having Shawn Porter as Manny’s sparmate helped. Porter, an undefeated junior middleweight, is a boxer that is faster and stronger than cotto and hits like a mule. Kinda reminds me of a lighter version of Mike Tyson.

Cotto started losing the fight when Manny taunted Cotto to hit him harder while leaning at the ropes. The legendary left hook didn’t do a thing.
