Pacquiao: “I have more than one plan going into this fight”

By Manuel Perez: Manny Pacquiao is suddenly getting kind of bold as his fight with Miguel Cotto approaches. “I have more than one plan going into this fight. Master Freddie Roach has taught me well and I am prepared for anything that Miguel Cotto has to offer,” Pacquiao said in an article at Sky Sports. Wow! Pacquiao is really standing up on his hind legs and opening his trap like there’s no tomorrow.
This probably isn’t even going to be sporting. Pacquiao is going to go out there thinking he’s facing Ricky Hatton or Oscar De La Hoya and will get his head taken off at the shoulders by Cotto.
Pacquiao says “I have studied all of his [Cotto] tapes, and I feel like I know him like I know myself. It’s going to be a great fight between two great fighters.”
Pacquiao will attack like always and be looking to throw his right hook when Cotto comes after him. Pacquiao is so predictable with his right hook. If it was me, I’d block it and fire a right hand back at him. This is what Cotto will be doing.
“I feel stronger at this weight than I ever have. My punches are harder,” Pacquiao says. That sounds like Pacquiao is practicing a mantra. Well, maybe if Pacquiao repeats it enough he can get to a point of ultimate tranquility can get a good nights rest. Believe me, Pacquiao’s punches will be no harder than usual. He’ll be slower because of the added weight. That won’t help Pacquiao at all.

And for you stepping in the ring with him and his ‘predictable right’…..i’m sure you’ll be saying what all the other fallen fighters have been saying…..’i didnt know where the punches were coming from’. I take it you’ll be cheering for mayweather when the time comes….but it’ll already be too late for you even if he wins….you’ve been wrong too many times.

Perez, is just trying to give cotto fans a more level ground because Pac is favored 3-1 for this fight but he knows deep inside it’s going to be a good fight, he doesn’t really believe Many will be destroyed that bad. I am a Cotto fan I hope that Cotto wins and redeems himself for his career’s sake, on the other hand Pacman will not loose any merit if he looses to Cotto, he had accomplished more than anyone ever thought he would. Keep up the fictitious writing I think it’s entertaining, and so does everyone else who take the time to read it and comment…

TO MANNY, cotto might be slow but he has good timing and great boxing skills that go unoticed.. many argue that pacmans foot work and hand speed is going to be a big facture in this fight.IF you are a true boxing fan you will know that all cotto has to do is use alittle side to side action and cut the ring off and counterpunch.This stradegy work well with marquez i cant see it not working for cotto,,keep this in mind marquez staggered pac in the 3rd round of their second fight with a left hook. what u think will happen when cotto lands his..MY POINT EXACTLY
