Vicky is finished time to call it a day, Just a brawler no real skill, or ring generalship. Khan has a better chance against marquez. I don’t think Hatton should fight Khan either because Freddy has Hatton’s number and knows his flaws inside out as Pacquiao proved, and khan would do the same.

I admire Hatton. He wants to fight and shows no fear. My advice would be to really work on that defense of his and make his punches tighter, and not so wide. I’ve become fond of the philly shell. I wish Hatton the best of luck in the upcoming year.

Ricky should fight Zab Judah first then if he beats Zab then A fight against JMM would be good to see at 140 or 135.

Hatton is still young and with a most compelling reason to return…redemption. He actually did well with floyd up until the late round stoppage. As regards the pacman, well pac is a meatgrinding killa from manila and has performed in his last four to five fights well above expectation, above what convention would allow for what his humanly possible, much like bannister breaking the four minute mile…why should everyone manny schooled retire, from lelohonolo ledwaba to miguel cotto; especially if manny is performing at the level of an all time great, then getting knocked out by the pacman should be an honor, pick up the pieces, learn from this once in a lifetime beatdown and move on…just don’t fight manny again…but for hatton, marquez would be a reasonable matchup…

yeah, this is a tricky one.i think Ricky should carefully consider what he wants to get out of this fight with Marquez. Does he need the cash or does he want to get his pride back?
If its a pride thing he will definitely take the fight i think, the problem is i dont see Marquez being pushed around by Ricky, especially after getting schooled by Floyd. Marquez aint gonna stop any time soon.

Marquez weighed 142 lbs for his fight with Matweather and looked terrible…. slow and had no punching power. I think Hatton would give him a good fight at 140 lbs…. I dont think at this point in Hattons carreer he should waste time with tune up fights. If he gonna fight then fight the best available. At least he wont be accused of ducking anyone unlike other fighter who i wont mention.

hatton has always let himself go in between fights with the weight i no and i wish he wouldnt i love watchin marquez hes a legend but after watchin him against floyd at welter he looked very slow the fight will probably be held at 140 i still think hatton will push through for a ud or sd no danger if he loses its time to call it a day .

so put that double cheese burger down and get to the gym HITMAN!!!!!

if the fight takes place at 147 hatton has the advantage, if it takes place at 140 marquez has the advantage.

i to echo wot McGuigan says.hatton as nothing to prove,he as had a great career.and yeh boiling back down to 140lb thats all wot will be on hattons mind in training.and will have to cut corners missing out on plenty of other things and could end up paying the price.if hatton goe,s ahead he should be looking at sept time,nothing b4.but i to would like 2c him call it a day.
