This is a fight that I wouldn’t pay five dollars to watch. Paper champ vs big mouth that ran like hell from the real champs.

I personally do not see how the Hayemaker can lose this one. Haye by decision.

Tua does not have a “possible weak chin”! He has never been knocked out; and I’m not positive but I don’t think he has ever been knocked down. Unlike Haye he has proved he can take a Hvwt. punch! I’d love to see him fight Haye, he’d destroy him!

Don’t mention Haye in the same breath as Roy Jones Jr. or Michael Spinks. They had undeniable credentials when they fought for the Hvywt. title. One of them was the #1 pound-for-pound fighter in the world; and the other was undefeated and one of the best light heavyweight champs of all time (if not the best)! Haye has trash talked his way into three Hvywt.title fights
and punked out of the two vs. the Klitschkos!

Fact is everyone is talking about Haye not neccessarily for good reasons but his mouth has got him the fight which is good business and fair play by Booth and Haye

The question is wrong. How credible is Haye is the question. If Valuev smashes Haye very easily and early then Haye is not credible.

Any other outcome and some credit needs to go him. Valuev tho not actually very talented is a very very hard man to beat which his record and world title shows. You have to be really good to beat him so we need to have respect for him in this sport.

Why has Haye got a titleshot? He won and unified belts at Cruiserweight and has won 2 fights at Heavyweight -Bonin and Barrett.
The division is pretty barren so it is hardly a shock that a charismatic, trash talking champion would get a title fight quickly.
Plenty of lighterweight fighters have received titleshots without ever having a fight in the division: Michael Spinks and Roy Jones Jnr are recent examples.(Interms of the long history of the division)

Don’t blame Haye for having the ambition to challenge for the title – instead you could point the finger at Vitali Klitschko, he promised Valuev a fight and since then Valuev has stated that Vitali won’t even acknowledge his phonecalls.

So, if you don’t like this fight then you know who to blame.

Dont forget that haye was a unified cruiserweight world champion and dont be suprised if he has more to offer than you might think. In my opinion haye wouldnt beat a Klitschko but he’s brought a bit of a buzz back to the heavyweights at least.

I wish Haye had faught somebody else. I really wanted to see Valuev against Vitali.

Valuev is just too big, most opponents do little damage to him, only Vitali could realistically knock him out. Haye will be like fly buzzing around Valuev as the big man tries to swat him.

But yes, all of this is pointless really, the klitschko brothers look unstoppable. I can’t see anybody in the division beating them.
