Haye has only been put down properly by Mormeck and Thompson. Mormeck has a more than respectable 66% KO ratio whereas Thompson is renowned for being a banger. So all this talk of him having a fragile chin is a little premature IMO. Let’s see how Valuev deals with Haye’s power.

haye has been floored a few times and not by big punchers and although he possesd punching power in cruiser weight does he really compare to either of the klithcko bros i personally cant see haye ko’ing him and i dont see how hell win the decision in germany but heres hoping i want him to cause a stir but he cant get to the top with vitali there cause he has a weak chin and vitali doesnt and they both punch with alot of power

The only people who think Barrett knocked Haye down are the ones that WANTED to see it.

the giant will win by ko he is just way too big he may not be great but he is champion albeit a weak one haye will tire in middle rounds and the oaf will catch him im goin down the bookies there offering 9/2 that the beast will win by ko or tko im on that

Nice article Julie, you make some good points especially the difficulty of getting a close points decision in Germany and most importantly trying to knock out Valuev, who is the kind of guy you can land all your best punches on and will still be standing there.

No Julie Haye did NOT get knocked down by Barrett.

But your main point about him havin the stamina to keep up the pressure incase he cant KO Valeuv is a very valid and important factor on this.

Im hoping moving up a weight has helped him over the stamina issues he did seem to have. He was always fighting his body weight in that division and throwing bomb after bomb really takes its toll.

And if he does lose to Valuev then he definatly loses his big chance to lure the Klitchkos into fights without being completely fleeced in the contract.

i think haye will take it on points.. he will throw way to many to be close. jus has to keep some gas in the tank for the latter rounds
