The most worrying thing for Scott is surely that Britain has a batch of a dozen or so genuinely talented and potentially great young fighters right now. U.K. boxing is in great condition and there will be successes along the way that will, obviously, destroy Scott’s morale.

Haye had been saying that Wladimir Klitschko’s style was boring and that Wladimir fights like he is scared of getting hit.

Well, what did Haye do last Saturday? He threw much fewer punches than Wladimir. Haye threw 143 punches and landed 98 of them. Haye also looked terrified of whenever Valuev launched his punches.

Now, Haye is going to have a taste of his own medicine. He will have the other contenders calling him out and demanding a fight with them. If Haye refuses, he will not look very brave will he?
