UKanSodOff, how can u criticise Haye in the Macrinelli fight, he nearly killed the guy by taking his head off. He won by KO and dominated every round. To criticise him is just dumb.

The most worrying thing for Scott is surely that Britain has a batch of a dozen or so genuinely talented and potentially great young fighters right now. U.K. boxing is in great condition and there will be successes along the way that will, obviously, destroy Scott’s morale.

The Haye fans are in a terrible state, their main man managed to get a questionable win out of their idol and they know very well after the dismal showing against Valuev Haye’s dreams as well as their own aspirations will end in a nightmare of defeat at the fists of Vitali or Wladimir Klitschko come fight night. Haye is not the stuff that champion heavyweights are made of and his abbreviated visit to the heavyweight scene will be reviewed as just that, short and without significance.

Good point well made by the writer of this article-Haye threw a seriously small number of punches in the Maccarinelli fight. In fact, from the 3rd round onward it was absolute zero. Terrible. Same thing after round 5 against Barrett. How does Haye think he can win fights by simply knocking his opponents out?
