Haye rocked valuev?WTF that punch didnt even connect.It’s more like haye flashed a shot which blinded Valuev and Valuev lost his balance as he is that huge.

Dude are you kidding?Haye landed solidly a few times on valuev earlier…The result?Haye broke his hand.

According to haye, hitting valuev is like smashing against a brick wall…

Haye doesnt even have the power to worry valuev, let alone knock him out.

How can you say Haye has always been a runner. That’s absolute crap. He’s one of the most offensive minded boxers out there. This was the only fight in Haye’s career where he hasn’t stood and traded, and rightly so aswell, if he standed and traded with Valuev he’d get KO’d like anyone would. You’ve obviously only seen him fight 1 or 2 times and judge him on that like all yanks do about British fighters. Just like you all did with Froch Vs Dirrell and we know what happened there. Unlucky loser.

So Dirrell runs from Froch all night and it’s a masterful display of defensive boxing and Haye did similar tactics except that he didn’t fight like a pus*y and actually landed big shots and you say he ran all night and was scared of his own shadow. This just proves how biased you are and yet again you get a prediction wrong. I think we should start up a petition to get him removed from this site. What a complete and utter muppet.

david haye’s strategy was perfect for this fight. He never fights like this (90% ko recor!?), but he knew this was the only way to get the job done.
I am 100% sure that haye will go back to his normal self and destroy ruiz within 6 rounds.

And comparing haye to dirrel is ludicrous. I dont even have to explain why.

Haye boxed and moved beautifully when you consider what he was up against and with just one hand for much of the fight. The art of hitting and not getting hit. Haye showed he is smart and has the skills to handle bigger men (as well as a plan B). He is a lot more than just a one-dimensional banger.

Unified cruiser and now won the WBA heavyweight title in 24 fights.

Stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

I was also a little dissapointed by Haye after all the talking pre-fight. But he did get the job done, never really getting hit by Valuev, Haye was the only one landing any kind of clean shots, just wish he did it a bit more often. I scored the fight 115-114 Haye. The rounds that I gave to Valuev wernt as much won by Valuev as they were lost by Haye’s running and refusal to come forward, even Adam Booth was getting a bit frustrated. But like i said, Haye landed the most punches and had valuev shaken a few times, and certainly hurt in the final round. Will be interesting to see where Haye goes from here.

haha wat an absolute arse hole u talk about it being a crap fight and you said haye would get beat but if u listened to the guys who know what there talking about like hatton and roach (even though i think cotto will destroy pacquiao) you could have tried to pretend you know wat ur on about and predicted the correct outcome. I think if haye had looked for the ko from the start the outcome would have been different but he proved a lot of people wrong and boxed a sensible fight so you go tell david haye it was boring cus i dont think hed give a crap cus hes got the WBA heavyweight title around his waist whether an arse like you thinks he should have or not

I agree with you that Holyfield probably did do a better job and still lost.

Now thats out the way. The reason Haye had a low punch output was because he hurt his hand. (take a look at the swelling on his knuckles) Also, Haye wouldnt have lasted the 12 rounds if he went in for the KO, he has always had stamina issues. Although I do believe now that he may have had the power to stop Valuev by TKO, judging by how he rocked him in the twelth.
As for the running, Dirrell employed exactly the same tactic against Froch. Both Dirrell and Haye did very well. However, Haye never really got hit other than a jab throughout the contest. Whereas Dirrell was caught on occasions by big shots. I thought Dirrell-Froch was a draw. I thought Haye beat Valuev fairly, however, I was unconvinced he would get the decision especially in Germany.

worst fight – you say, or try to say, ‘Valuev want fight,but haye was so scared then his been running like a coward at all tge time.’
Lets be fair, if your fighting a guy a clear foot taller than you, who has the weight advantage of a small, light flyweight, who also has more hair on his back than you have on your head, your hardly going to stand toe to toe with him and trade. He employed his tactics well, and went twelve rounds with the heavyiest world champion of all time. I bet every other opponent who has faced Valuev thinks now that it would have been a good idea to run and potshot from this guy.
