hatton should retire he is to weak at 140 ask this question could he survive a fight against maidana or could he even catch up to kwan to land a blow and this two fighters are not even the best at 140. hatton does not have the skills to fight at 147 his best weight at this time.

Well i think he should call it a day for his health, i love him and think he’s great. All you guys calling him should stop.

He was great you can’t say he wasn’t. Where was
Pac man and Maywheather when he was dominating the division for four years.

Most of the fighters who ever entered a boxing ring were limited. With the exception of a few, Maywheather is one of them, he’s up there with Ali
these are guys who can adapt. There not restricted by a style, i think styles are founded in pride. Look at froch, i liked him before his last fight, but he obviously dosn’t understand what it means to box, when he was saying, the guy wouldn’t stand and fight. I wouldn’t neither and neither would have any of the greats.

Hatton should call it a day.

As for who will win from Cotto Vs Manny i think the smart money is on Manny and Manny Vs Maywheather well thats an interesting one.

I think he should pack it in. Not too many brawlers go that far. I wonder if the Pac fight would have changed a little had he selected a more appropriate trainer? What a mistake!

the hatton haters on this blog are gimps. Listen whatever we say Ricky will make his own decision. There is a lot of people that would give there right arm to acheive what ricky has achieved. 2 loss to the two best fighters of an era is no shame. The second one though does pose a question over hattons abilty to continue fighting with those hands down. He needs a defence if he is to carry on.

Hatton I’m a big fan, but get back in shape. Whilst out of training camp go to your new gym 4 days a week and mork out, then you’ll not have so much to lose. Fight diaz then marquez or bradley then maybe a floyd rematch and retire! Go on Ricky, you can do it!!!!

Hatton has been a great champoin and ducked out on nobody which is a proud thing to say these days in boxing. There have been so many boxers who have ducked out fighting certain people to keep their career going a little long than it should. At least Hatton took anyone on with no hesitation. Like J said earlier Hatton has lost 2 out of 47 fights and some people are saying he is useless. Get a life to those people. I hope he comes back for a few years just to shut up the critics. I dont expect him to deat Pacman or Mayweather but the facts are he is number 3 in the world to them and there is no shame in that!!

RH has had a good run in boxing , He became light welterweight champion of the world, and he made a lot of money to boot. To be honest with you I think that Hatton won the battle but lost the war when he fought KT. That was the best that he has ever looked in the ring to me. If you will be honest with yourself he hasn’t looked the same since that night. Hatton fought his heart out that night and walked through some heavy leather. His ability to take a punch just isn’t what it once was. You Brits should love him, he gave you all he had.

I think people overlook the fact that Hatton’s ONLY 2 losses were to fighters considered P4P best at the time, there’s no shame in that. I hate hearing people say “Hatton’s lost 2 of his last 4″ why not say “Hatton’s lost 2 out of 47!” I hope to see him back in the ring. Imagine he reunites with Billy Graham and goes on a tear of the 140lb division!
