Look im a big Haye fan but he WONT get a 50/50 split with either Klitschko sister because of all the silly stunts hes pulled, plus why would they? From where im sitting they hold all the cards, not Haye. A WBA strap wont change that. Haye is new to the HW division while the Klitschko sisters have beating up heavyweights for years. But you cant deny the fact that Haye puts bums on seats. He’ll be the biggest payday for either Klitschko.

being a champion as heavyweight does not make u more superior than a former Cruiserweight champ or lightweight.haye was a unified Cruiserweight champion and now a heavyweight chmapion.I bet u,if haye could beat one of those klitschko,then he will be the biggest name out there since lennox call it off,believe me.Haye will ko wlad and school vitali.

I’m pretty sure Haye would be happy with a smaller purse, the truth is, neither Klitchko brother is too keen on facing him as win or lose, they know Haye is hungrier, faster and IMO packing more power than many of the old journeymen they have fought over the last couple of years. Obviously he is interested in the riches that come with being a heavyweight champ, but I firmly believe he is more focused on the glory of taking big name scalps, namely Vlad and (although less less likely) Vitali.

And lets be honest, apart from the brothers fighting each other, Haye vs either one is the only big HW fight that anyone would pay to see.

You are now talking about market forces and there is no fairness in market forces. Haye markets himself well, all the people for the Klitchkos hate him and want to see him knocked out and all his supporters want to see change and him win. Why are the Klitchkos interested in fighting him, its for a big pay packet. That is why they are professionals, they fight for money. A fighter only has a limited time and must make as much money as he can. If he gets a 50:50 split it is because he is worth it.

I dont give 2 turds about who gets more money i just wana see them fight.

I do however think that if both parties are bringing world titles to the table then 50 50 is fair.

The Klitchkos sell well but then so does Haye. If it was to be a split in favour of the Klitchkos i reckon Haye would still take it, he wants the belts, but he wont be played for a mug and wont accept ridiculous clauses and rematches and what ever else they chuck in there.

I think that showed some nerves on the Klitchkos part the 1st time around. If they were so confident of battering him theyd of been more eager to do him in the ring not on the contract table.

No way, Haye should be made to pay for the right to fight the Klitschkos after his antics of “calling out” then pulling out instead. Make the Haye pay it’s the only way I say.

IMO articles about which fighter gets the most money are a waste of time. When you have two belt holders facing each other I would like to see each fighter get 40% each, with the remaining 20% going to the winner. This would be a good rule of thumb as fighters and promoters would no longer be able to use money as a reason to not make the fights that the fans want to see.

A win over a weak champ like Valuev doesn’t constitute a 50/50 split.Even if he wins in impressive fashion against Ruiz, I’d say no.
However, he certainly deserves a much better offer than the original one he had to fight Wlad.
I would want Wlad 1st, and then if he wins, Vitali next. The money generated should mean they have enough to pay Valuev to forget about a rematch.

Bloodbath i have to disagree with you on this one even though i am a brit , the klitschko brothers probaly do deserve a bigger slice of the pie so to speak as they pull around 11 million vewiers in germany when they fight and also sell out 60,000 seater stadiums. Haye too is a very big buy and i think a 60 – 40 deal would be fair but no reamtches clauses as the Wladmir and Vialti wanted last time

He absolutely deserves a 50-50 deal with the big brothers as he’d undoubtedly pull more fans them both of them put together. Simply because of his charisma and silly hype antics.

Morally? Possibly not, but the purse split is always about the fighters generating money.
