Craig Watson: “I can beat Khan” – News

By Liam Santiago: Quality Manchester boxer, Craig Watson has expressed his feelings on his chances of victory if he was to fight Amir Khan. Watson has recently moved down a division to light welterweight and is eyeing a British title shot against Lenny Daws. Watson said, ”He’s a strong kid, but I am stronger and he wouldn’t be able to keep me off him’.” I agree with Watson. Anyone who has seen The Manchester man fight understands he is a top quality operator.
Although Watson has every piece of talent needed to defeat Khan he does not believe he will get that chance. ”I’d love to fight Khan, but he is at world level and is looking at big names in the states. If he beats Salita, I see him fighting Erik Morales or Alex Arthur.”
Watson is a strong lad. He could easily knock Khan out, so don’t expect Khan to take this fight ever. Just like you will probably never see Khan fight John Murray, Breidis Prescott or anyone else that can pack a punch.

Amir Khan is a very good and brave fighter, has very fast hands and tremendous boxing skills which I feel will only get better with time.
This is turning into a biased website towards Amir Khan no wonder the guy wants to move abroad hes flying our flag and where just putting him down day after day. Liam Santiago needs to change the subject and move on instead of waiting for Khans downfall. The guy has tremendous ability and in time he will and have to fight all the top contenders and PREVALE.

Watson is very under-rated his 3 defeats, John Fewkes was when he had to lose a stone in a week, that italian where he took it at late notice with limited experience and John O’ Donnell, an absoloute robbery, people moan about Frochs and Furys genuine wins, Watson got robbed in this one

didn’t watson back out of this fight a couple of years ago? khan wanted revenge for being floored in the amateurs…why would it happen now? should have fought him when he had the chance…he would have beat him back then…now he’s got no chance of even making that fight…i doubt he’d beat khan now either…
khan is at world lvl,and watson aint even hit domestic lvl properly,so y even mention craig watson,khan has more talent in his little finger than watson.plus watson didnt really fight anyone gud anyway they were all bums,and khan had the c’wealth belt round him after 13 fights.everyone is jealous that khan is world champ because they knew he would do it thats y no-ones that bothered.
