Not sure about my memory but didn’t B-Hop school super Kelly Pavlik after losing to Joe – he’s definitely old but still not totally past it … and a definite ATG.

(However I did think the Joe BHop fight could’ve gone either way)

Calzaghe would easily win the super six, but he has done enough, has knackered hands and should be happy in retirement. Look at calzaghes earlier fights he was a powerful puncher, unfortunately hand troubles stopped that. He would hammer dirrell as he is just not good enough, Ward would be a good fight, but cal would win, kessler would be easier 2nd time around. froch would be a walk over. Calzaghe was past his prime by the time he fought hopkins and he still had more than enough to win and arguably the hopkins around now is a harder proposition than a young hopkins

I like the kid as much as the next guy
and he deserved a nod vs froch (in a fight he made awfully boring)

but joe calzaghe was a dynamic fighter with the undefeated confidence of a winner

he had a dynamite chin and could always adjust

he’d have murdered dirrell, taylor.
