By Liam Santiago: Amir Khan is still blubbering complete rubbish about World Boxing Council champion Carl Froch. Khan’s latest childish stunt was in an interview on the Amir Khan fans website. Khan called Froch ”unprofessional” and he claimed Froch’s win over Dirrell was a ”hometown decision”. The Bolton man said, ”He needs to take the sport more professionally. I don’t like fighters who just talk rubbish and trash to their opponents.,” Khan said in an interview at Doghouse Boxing.
Khan went on to slate the Nottingham man by saying, ”He has said some very bad things about his opponent. He is a very bad person. He has even said some bad things about me because I’m a different weight. They come out of the blue and maybe it’s because we have different promoters. He is always on the dig about me and my boxing skills.”
Khan did not finish there. Once again, he claimed Froch is jealous. What of? The fact that Froch is undefeated, can take a punch. Also the recent claims from Khan that he is a better champion than Froch are ludicrous. Froch defeated an all time great, Jermaine Taylor, went on to beat classy prospect, Andre Dirrell and is preparing to face the best at his weight, Mikkell Kessler. Khan beat an unknown, slow, non punching Kotelnik and is preparing to fight a guy not even ranked in the top 30 of his division. You decide who the better champion is. I know who I’d go for.
Khan went on to say, ”I think it’s more jealously than anything so really I don’t like him but I just mind my own business and I really hope that one day he will mind his own business as well”. Speaking about Froch’s win over Dirrell Khan said, ”I felt that he had an advantage with the judges because the fight was in his own backyard, but that’s boxing for you. Arthur Abraham is a very difficult hard hitting opponent. He is very durable and very active in a fight and I think he will definitely cause serious problems for Carl Froch. The Super Six tournament is a tough tournament and I think that down the line he is working for that defeat.”

Yeh, Froch does overrate himself – badly !! Dirrell won it on my card by two clear rounds.
Froch is strong,but very, very limited at the top level.
Amir your trouble is Froch is liked by the Fans and your not because you can’t keep your mouth shut!!!!!do your talking in the ring with the best out there instead of patsy’s and easy route you’ve chosen so far, then the fans might warm to you and the word is “might?”.
Wow, what a bad article. I don’t really care for Amir Khan, but the truth of the matter is that Froch is definitely headed for defeat very soon. Well I mean, he already lost to Dirrell even if he got a gift decision. But the true colours of this write come out when he says that Froch beat “an all time great” in Jermaine Taylor… oh MY God!!!!! When did you start watching boxing? And WHAT is your conception of an ATG????? Leaving that aside, Froch was getting schooled by Taylor, but Taylor (as a not-so-great fighter that he is) is not a finisher. Still, had he hung on for a few more seconds, we wouldn’t have to hear about Froch’s so called perfect record.

It is rather difficult to read such a biased and prepossed article that is seemingly lacking in with any educational substructure and therefore be so easily scrutinised.
Being English, I personally admire and support both fighters, but I will point out a few things:
1. Amir’s next world title defence is against the WBA’s number 1 contender – so obviously within the “top 30.”
2. Although Froch (thankfully for us) did win against Direll, it has to be said there was much opposition to the decision with people from both sides of the atlantic hailing Froch as boring. He will be tested to the ‘t’ against Kessler and will therefore need to up his game.
3. Froch started the banter against Khan. The latter has responded in what really can be described as in a controlled manner – so to label him as childish demonstrates hatred from every nuance of your writing.
Hope they both win their upcoming fights to continuing hailing Britain’s flag high…
tbh i dnt rate khan and he is pretty boring but he must b doing something right if roach is training him so he can only get better…
but for carl froch to call anyone boring is a bit of a joke he has been pummeled for the last 24 rounds, its not really all tht exciting watching a fellow brit taking shot after shot, but he managed to get a lucky tko against J.T and a “favourable” descision against Dirrel but u gotta give it 2 froch he never gives up and takes all fights and if u dont take the fights you cant get lucky….
and 2 british world champions you gotta love it and now u can add the haymaker 2 the list!

Whens Khan gonna F!!k of to America? the sooner the better for me. Then he can hang about with the likes of Dawson and mayweather and compare fraud notes.

Froch and Khan are a bit similar in Both talk themselves up to be alot better than they are and both lacking some key things once in the ring.
But atleast Froch will fight anybody anywhere, Khan will fight only certain people in certain places. I know which one of those demands more respect and thats why Khans not getting as much resptect and thats why hes spitting his dummy out.
Khan dominated Marco Antonio Barrera whilst Froch barely beat Taylor (OK, Barrera and Taylor are both old).
Many people thought Direll beat Froch whilst Khan again dominated Kotelnik.
Plus Khan is only twenty 22 old he has the potential to be the greatest world champion Britain has to offer – over L. Lewis, Hamed, Hatton, and Calzaghe.

there’s nothing wrong with what amir said. if froch can dish it out then he can take it. they’re both boring.
Never mind. For what it’s worth, I don’t much rate either Khan or Froch. Khan may yet develop into a good fighter, though. I can’t see Froch getting past Kessler. Or Abraham, for that matter.

iv watched amir khan since the olympics and have followed every pro fight since the start!! u can b critical of khan all day and call him alot of things !! 1 thing u cannot call the boy is boring!!! jus bcoz he went bak 2 basics and schooled kotelnik without commiting doesnt all of a sudden make him boring!!! this is very immature analysis and i hope u look at urself afterwards!!! even the greats have been slow at times !!! slow and boring!! ur prediction reeks of anti-khan!! typical!!!

Khan is fighting salita because he’s the mandatory challenger, wait and see if he fights Maidana before we slate him completly. I have to agree that khan is in his own world if he thinks froch is jealous of him though. Its always better to watch when you know your going to see a fight like with froch against taylor rather that a marathon like khan against kotelnik.

Have to agree with this, i would rather watch froch than khan any day. Froch is willing to fight the best whilst khan moves up weights to avoid people. Its a great achievement to get a world title at 22 but he needs to start earning respect instead of whining to get it. Stop disrespecting a great champion in carl froch and prove himself. Froch earned his respect so khan now must do the same. Froch may have been outboxed in a very cagey and boring fight with dirrell but he didn’t go in to a fight over confident and get smashed out in 54 seconds. Come on khan show us what your made of.
