Tony Jeffries ready for his hardest test – News
By Liam Santiago: This Friday, Olympic Bronze medalist, Tony Jeffries will face his toughest test to date. The Sunderland man will face Artem Solomko, who is the Belarus light-heavyweight boxing champion. Solomko has also faced former European champions. Although Jeffries has only had three bouts, he has no intentions of wasting time on easy opposition. The fight is live on Sky Sports, 10 pm, on the undercard of Jason Booth and Michael Hunter.
Jeffries has already proved he has immense power after three straight knock outs of good solid fighters. Solomonko will be a step up in class but Jeffries has every aspect to win. Out of the group of British Olympian’s who have recently turned professional, Jeffries and Billy Joe Saunders seem to be the ones most suited to the pro game. Also on the bill is former Olympian heavyweight, David Price.

Rich, england:lol, as i posted on another article, secondsout.com’s offer to liam was to “go f@ck himself” but he kindly declined as hes too busy bending over for cotto. isn’t it about time that other clown gilfoid posted a re wording of his froch bash article?. im bored of liam now.
Another couple of anti-froch articles magically appeared!
I agree with Tom, Jefferies and Saunders have been flawless in their fights whereas DeGale was soft in his debut and Gavin was scrappy
Its a big test for jeffreys after all he has only boxed 3 rounds,i do belive he and billy jo are the best out of the olympians
to al, watch tony booth hull on you tube for a great boxing clip

Did anyone catch John Murray win the Britain title at the weekend?
they’ve got to be licking they’re lips after this.
Out with Thomas Hausser, in with Santiago!
liam, he’s the former belarussian champ, not the former belarus champ! idiot!
thats like saying someone is the former germany champion, or the former france champion, or the former britain champion.
Do you think secondsout will up the offer?
Belarus isnt particularly noted for champion fighters . Quite a few british prospects have fought fighters from belarus who have just came as opponents and have been blown away( 2 of jeffries opponents so far were from belarus) . This solomko fellow won the title from a below average fighter and probably wont give jeffries much of a test.
