I haven't been watching boxing for that long, but isn't welter weight from 140- 147? Why is that people weigh in at 1 weight, then gain weight before the fight. The reason it works at super middleweight is because none of the fighters in the division are big money fighters. None of them can do a PPV fight on their own so the negotiations become easier right away. Of course a tournament would be great but it will never happen.
