People want to see KO’s. Floyds followers like him because of his antics outside of the ring, which I think is retarded because a he just acts like everyother rapper on cribs. But what real boxing fans want to see a fighter do more than just enough to win. Dont get me wrong he is very skilled and talented, but where is the fire he had when he KO’d Diego Corrales? RIP one of my fav all time. Maybe he hasent been pushed as of late? None the less, his last couple fights, besides Hatton, just havent been exciting. For PBF to get more fans, outside of hip hop groupies he needs more than a defensive decision over JMM. Quit whinning about fans saying this and that, and quit making it about race. Thats a desperate act from a desperate fighter, and it wont win fans. KO’s will win fans. Tyson, pre-jail, had boxing at an all time high. This was because people knew what they were getting, and he’s black. So his race rants are a bunch of crap. Boxing is struggeling and it needs more fighters that show and prove, IN THE RING, and less whinning fighters, who arent that exciting to watch.

Floyd is one of the best boxer when it comes to skill. Unfortunately, his style doesn’t appeal to most fight fan. And he also avoids matches that are quite risky even if these fights are with a lot of excitement. If Floyd did loss before I think he would have become a more rounded boxer (with good offense) and will also be more exciting since he will “fight” without thinking of maintaining his “unbleamish” record.

As to being “liked”, I think being black doesn’t have anything to do with it. There’s a lot of black personalities that are well liked. He has to straighten his act if he wants people to like him. But I think it’s too late for that. People will always see what they see in him.

Floyd is a true speaker, no one can knock his talent he is without doubt the greatest boxer of our time, Im a huge hatton fan and of boxing i love the sport when all is said and done we can talk about mayweather in the same breath as the all time greats in the likes of leonard,robinson,duran we should count ourselfs lucky to have floyd mayweather in the sport of the boxing.

Am i the only one who thinks mayweather vs mosley would be boring and about have no hype or excitement about it?

Same with mayweather cotto. I think cotto is a beast, but hes over rated.

The only interesting fights out there i can see is mayweather vs pacman or mayweather vs hatton… in london.

again i would say mayweather should have not picked a smaller fighter in marquez yet marquez should not have excepted the challenge of a bigger
faster and a very skilled fighter like mayweather.

Marquez is the smaller boxer in terms of his progression in moving up the divisions.

Also, Mayweather is not looking on boxing anyone other than Marquez at the minute. It is critics like you who don’t realise what they are saying. On the one hand, ‘Why didnt Mayweather wait one more day before signing upto box Marquez and go after Pacquiao?’.
Then, if and when the Mayweather – Pacquiao bout happens, ‘He keeps fighting smaller guys!’

Make your mind up. At least try and be unbiased when you write articles!!
